Couples often fight and have disagreements over day-to-day things. It is a pretty normal part of married life. However, this woman decided to have some fun as well after having an argument with her husband. The woman, who goes by u/courageefficient8264 on Reddit, shared a funny anecdote from arguments with her husband. In the post, she revealed that for the past couple of years, she has been packing peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for her husband, but she changes the spread with grape jam, every time they argue or fight.

The 30-year-old female wrote, "My husband (30m) and I (30f) have been together for 8 years. For the past couple of years, I have made him a peanut butter and jelly sandwich every day to take to work. I use Welch’s grape concord jelly- this is important for later. Every day he tells me that I make the best sandwiches and I just say 'I make it with love.' However, when we’re fighting he always says he can taste the difference in his PBnJ (peanut butter and jelly), and I say 'because I made it with hate.'"

Further, she shares that after every fight, she swaps the sandwich spread with "organic and sugar-free grape jam," which her husband is completely unaware of. "So it’s what I use to convince him that he can’t make me mad or my anger makes food taste different," the woman added. Perhaps, she has mastered the art of spreading both love and mischief with a little twist to her sandwich recipe. The Reddit post quickly garnered a lot of attention online, with people reacting to her hilarious story.

u/akshetty2994 commented, "I was really preparing to be like 'Please don't do that and just be honest and open with your partner' but man that was too good lmao." u/twistedsister42 wrote, "I'm just imagining him not even realizing you are mad until he takes a bite of the sandwich at work." Similarly, u/tea-earl grey-milk had a great laugh over the incident and commented, "This is delightfully funny! You've essentially convinced your husband that you have a supernatural power, and he's just accepting it. F*****g brilliant." u/plus-half401 wrote, "This reminds me of something I occasionally do when my kids are being stinkers. I make their sandwiches with the end pieces that are ALL crust." u/princesstrashbag had a hilarious remark and wrote, "Naughty husbands get the sad jam."

Wives indeed have out-of-the-box ways of taking sweet revenge on their husbands, right? Well, in a similar incident, u/popular-jaguar-3803 had an unconventional way of taking sweet revenge on her husband who gifted a ShopVac to her. The following Christmas, the woman seized a great opportunity and bought a gift for her husband. She covered it in wrapping paper and waited for her husband's reaction. Finally, the moment arrived and her husband's face fell when he opened the big gift only to find a case of toilet paper.

"I then quoted him. Christmas was not what we would want but what we as a family needed or could use. We all wipe. He was furious. He complained to his brothers and everyone. My family and his brothers told him that he deserved the toilet paper. To this day, no husband in my family will ever buy a vacuum cleaner for their wives as a gift."
