It is great to have shows, movies or anything you can enjoy watching with your partner. However, certain stereotypes in our society have prompted people to believe that only women are supposed to enjoy drama and gossip. But no one can deny shows that have captured audience's hearts around the globe for too long. It is exactly what happened with a husband who believed that he did not like his wife's favorite shows. In a video posted on X by @twicietannies, people can witness the husband's heartwarming transition from denial to acceptance.

In the video, originally published by Hailey Housdan (@haileyypearll) on TikTok, the wife was watching "Bridgerton." Something her husband did not seem interested in. The text overlay read, "Stages of my husband 'not liking' my shows." Stage 1 involved "Reluctant retreat." It was quite clear that the man wanted to sit and watch the show as he lingered on the stairs instead of going up straight away. He continued to watch the screen for a good few minutes before he started retreating. The second stage was "Finding excuses to come back and watch."

The show must be really gripping as it had the husband coming back for more, even though he had to make excuses like "Just getting a drink." The husband stood at the kitchen counter with his can, slowly drinking as he watched the show. When all excuses might have failed, the husband advanced to stage three: "Stealth mode." It was awesome to watch as the man hid behind the first floor's railing and watched the show until his wife zoomed in the camera on his face. The woman can be heard chuckling as her husband was caught red-handed.

Eventually, the man admitted his interest in the show in the fourth stage, "Acceptance." He sat beside his wife, lying on the couch with his bag of chips. He also made excited hooting noises, clearly loving every moment of the show. "Giggling and kicking feet," as his wife wrote in the text overlay. The man seemed engrossed as he watched the drama unfold with his mouth open. The video on X received over 944k views and 33k likes. People took to the comments section to appreciate the hilarious transition.

@_sachaaaaaaaa wrote, "No! Because this is my mom and brother. Now I just heard that they watched episode four together, even though we planned to watch it with my sister as the actual 'Bridgerton' fans. My reaction was, Just 'with him?'" @LindsayFromTX commented, "I feel this is how so many couples watch shows, and then you gotta go back to episode one so that the other one can actually get into it from the start." @AstroWolvez remarked, "Honestly, I'll do this too. I'll be cooking in the kitchen and get a bit intrigued by what my family is watching and just kind of pretend to do stuff to delay going to my room."

@zemthings expressed, "He's training to compete in the 'dad who said he isn't into this show but is now more invested than you.'" @Venividivicvida shared, "My husband does this too. My favorite was when I came home sick and fell asleep watching 'Golden Girls.' I woke up to him lying next to me. Also watching it."
