Having a prankster spouse can be quite amusing, especially when they go above and beyond to entertain and scare the other one out of their wits. Evidence of their hilarious pranks is all over Jehiely Mora Vergara and her husband Alex's TikTok page (@jehielynalex). In major videos of them, it is the wife who doesn't miss a chance to pull a prank on her husband and stun him out of the blue. In her latest stunt, she painted herself head to toe in dark blue to blend seamlessly with the curtains in Alex's video game room.

The video starts with an overlay text that reads, "Blending into the curtains to see if my husband notices." She does not spare a single visible surface on her skin until her face and body are smeared in blue paint and she starts resembling a Smurf. She continues to crack up at her own reflection in the mirror as she slathers the paint all over her body. The next thing she does is enough to run a chill down anybody's spine. She stands against the curtains of her husband's gaming room with a dim light on and she widens her eyes and gives a wide grin, which is the only thing visible in the dark.

Her attempt at acting like a devil in the dark is successful when her husband finally enters the room and grabs his gaming gear without paying any attention to the suspicious figure by the window. Vergara jumps into the next stage of her prank and starts knocking down a few things within her reach. Her startled husband takes off his headphones and puts down his gaming console twice but can't seem to figure out where the sound is coming from.

When Alex finally starts getting creepy vibes, he gets up from his chair and switches on the lights of the room. Vergara finally reveals her true form and bursts out in laughter. But Alex looks clearly shocked and scared as he keeps running in circles while his wife tries to chase him around the table. The comments section was full of people bursting with laughter after witnessing the prank. Some even compared her blueish look and haunting smile in the dark with singer Doja Cat's look in her "Demons" music video.

Alex isn't alone; many share their lives with prankster partners or, in some cases, mischievous pets. u/sethborf on Reddit shared his deep concern for his missing pajama strings, assuming that it was a prank set up by his wife since she was alone at home when he went to work. The man further explained that the couple had been married for 10 years and shared a good relationship. If anything, he was surprised that she won't talk about the strings. "It's just really bizarre. She is a bit of a prankster and so am I. But I don't know what the point of the prank is if this is indeed some sort of practical joke," the husband wrote in his post.

Later, people suggested the husband check his cats' hiding spots because they are known to be a fan of all things weird. His final two updates revealed the real felon of his pajama strings was actually their house cat, who was a bit of a collector of random things. "Someone in the comments suggested maybe my cat had been taking them out and hiding them since cats tend to have hiding spots. One of his is under the couch. I just checked and I found one there. It's just one, but it's a start! I'm going to check his other spots too," he wrote in the update.
