Wife hilariously recites JoJo's Karma as a story in front of husband leaving everyone in stitches

A woman narrates lyrics with a straight face and to say that she convinced her husband that it was a story would be an understatement.

Telling believable stories is a true art that not many people possess. The same goes with this woman. Now, if you listen to her who was telling song lyrics to her boyfriend as a story, you would be convinced that she was quite a good storyteller. Courtney—who goes by@thequistfamily on TikTok—shared how she started telling her husband, Alex, a story, but it was actually the lyrics of the song "Karma" by Jojo. The man looked truly confused as he tried to understand what was going on. The woman was applying makeup as she recorded the video while the man presumably worked on his laptop.

As the video started, Courtney suddenly said. "I am a bad girl." It got Alex's attention, who let out a baffled snort. "I did some bad things. I swear I did it all for fun and it meant nothing," the wife continued. The husband asked, "Is this one of your weird dreams again, or what?" The woman added, "It never happened. It was a secret." Alex chimed in and said, "Well, you just told me." She gave the reference of a tree falling in a forest and no one hearing it from the song and the man reassured her that she could tell him anything and he would keep it to himself.

"I didn't think twice what it would do to you," the woman went ahead with her story. The husband raised his eyebrow as a response and asked, "What did you do?" The woman said that she always knew she was a wild child. In return, the man reassured her that the things she did in the past did not matter anymore. "It was a matter of time before I blew it," Courtney said sadly. At this point, Alex just put his laptop aside and paid his full attention to what Courtney was saying. "Thou shall not lie, thou shall not cheat, thou shall it get caught it you'll end up like me. Alex stared at her incredulously as the woman continued reciting the lyrics with a straight face.

However, at one point, she broke into a little smile and said, "Karma is a B. I should have known better." As she finished, the woman started laughing as the husband affirmed, "If you don't tell me what you did in the next five seconds..." The woman continued to laugh as the video ended. People didn't get to know at what point the man figured out that it was a song and not an incident. The woman captioned the video, "He was getting flustered by the end." The video has received over 10 million views and 1 million likes. People in the comments expressed their thoughts on the husband's reactions and the woman's ability to keep a straight face in such a situation.
