Couples often find themselves on different pages when deciding how many kids to have. To sway their partner, some get creative. Sue Rose (@suerose), a mom of three boys, chose this path while trying to convince her husband to expand their family. Wanting a fourth child, she created a humorous and elaborate PowerPoint presentation to communicate why they needed to add another baby to the mix. The presentation, filled with witty arguments and playful persuasion, quickly gained attention when Sue shared it on Instagram.

"Why should we have..." Rose began, but her husband quickly interrupted, saying, "Oh god, no. We don't even have room for the kids we have now." Unfazed, Rose told him to be quiet before adding, "I make cute babies." Her husband, though initially skeptical, nodded in agreement as the presentation continued. "I am a super supportive mom," Rose continued. "No matter what they want to do and who they want to love, I'll always support them." Her husband agreed, but questioned, "That's really beautiful, but is this really a reason why we should have another kid? I mean..." Rose shushed him once again and reasoned that when two of their kids were playing together, their sibling would be alone. "On-site, built-in play dates. Avoid the triangle of sadness," she emphasized, trying to drive home the benefits of a larger family.

"A puppy would do that," the husband chimed in. Rose shot him a glare, not willing to settle for a puppy instead of a baby. "If it's another boy, they could start a boy band," the mom pointed out. "If it's a girl, you could be a girl dad... all the bows and dresses." The dad paused and said, "That is kinda cool." She even pulled out a little dress for that slide. "So, where are we going?" Rose asked her husband at the end of the presentation. "We are going to the pound to get a puppy," the dad replied. "To the room!" she ordered, walking away with the baby. "No, babe. Dang it, if I have to," the husband muttered as he reluctantly followed her to the room. Rose’s creative yet hilarious approach left people in the comments impressed, with many sharing their own thoughts on her pitch.

@taylourmadedigital wrote, "The way I wish this is my thought process, but yeah no, meanwhile I'm strongly avoiding having anymore… I have one kiddo." @dennamelissa commented, "The irony is with the addition of your puppy, now you're back to the triangle of sadness. You need a puppy sibling, at least." @revseanhall remarked, "I've heard three is the hardest number of kids to have and that four is actually easier."

@culturedsavage shared, "Supporting your kids no matter what they want is not good parenting. That's actually not parenting. Love your stuff, though, just saying." @m0ther_g00se expressed, "This is why you get a vasectomy. No more worries about this discussion, and no, reversal is out of the question." @dfcain admitted, "Dad of four here. We had our first at 33 and our last at 42. I wish we would have had a few more." @jaarosado said, "My wife could literally have one slide, saying, 'Reason 1: Because I'm trying to get busy tonight and I happen to be ovulating' and that would be enough for me to have 15 kids."
