It is probably an inherent quality of men not to pay attention to their wives' suggestions and later face the consequences. No matter which part of the world you live in or which language you speak, one common statement in every household would be the wife saying "I told you so" to the husband. But this former TV anchor Jeannette Reyes–who goes by @msnewslady on TikTok–has a hilarious way of saying "I told you so" and it's what every wife needs to hear. With over 1.5 million views, this viral video got everyone bursting into laughter.

Reyes, a journalist based in Washington DC, previously worked for Fox 5 DC as a news anchor. So, in this video, when her husband asked her, "How do you say, 'I told you so,' in the anchor voice?" she instantly switched to her "anchor" mode and gave an amusing response. "Good evening. Your time now is 5:52. I'm Jeannette Reyes," the anchor began. She not only imitated the voice and style of a news anchor so flawlessly but also had a brilliant choice of words. "This just came into our newsroom. It did not take experts to predict that this would be the outcome," said Reyes sarcastically, pointing out that husbands always make silly mistakes.

The talented anchor then continued, "In fact, this gentleman's wife told him on multiple occasions," and added a hint of humor as the final touch, saying, "Will it happen again? You betcha." Listening to something hilarious in a serious tone combined with an extremely professional choice of words added to the fun element. This viral video had people in stitches and received hundreds of comments. Many wives were so impressed with Reyes' way of saying "I told you so" that they wanted to record her voice and play it whenever their husbands mess up.

"The way you had all that in the chamber in like four seconds, a true talent," commented @eagsquared. "I need my voice mail as your voice. Love it," wrote @mickystillrich. "Ok, she came out with that way too quickly. She's had that one waiting for a while," joked @philatline. "Please do one where the other spouse must admit, 'You were right! I was wrong,'" commented @allcapskelly.

Speaking of "anchor" voice, another news anchor went viral reporting her everyday realities as a mom. Kayla Sullivan (@kaylamariesully), also a TV anchor, posted a video on Instagram where she reported news about her family road trip. "Kayla Sullivan reporting live from our family road trip where we were scheduled to leave promptly at 7 a.m. It's 1:23 p.m. and we are just now leaving the driveway. I can confirm I was packed and ready. But it appears some Sullivans are slower than others," the anchor said. Sullivan hilariously used her anchor voice to report the chaotic situation during the road trip and the best part was that she used different objects like a Stanley cup, flip-flop, salad dressing packet and even playing cards as her mic. Her amusing report added fun to the already crazy road trip.
