Wholesome husband pampers wife who just gave birth with a stunning 17-course sushi meal

Childbirth is possibly one of the hardest experiences a woman can go through. Every woman deserves proper postpartum care, love and comfort from their family afterward. Daniel (@pov_husband) on Instagram is setting an example for husbands on how to treat their wives after giving birth. In a popular video on his Instagram page, Daniel shared how he raised the standards for other hubbies around the globe by preparing an extensive 17-course omakase sushi meal for his wife, Eunice.

The video has received over 16 million views so far and won over the internet. At the beginning of the video, Daniel can be seen donning a Krispy Kreme hat to mimic a chef's hat. He asks Eunice to sit near the kitchen counter as he prepares all the delicacies. "Wife's first sushi meal after giving birth so wanted to make it special. 17-course omakase curated by @pov_husband. Interesting fact: she doesn't like uni, caviar or fatty toro and wagyu, so those were mostly for me," the caption on his post read.

Daniel starts by handing over the printed-out menu to Eunice who reads through it and begins placing her orders. Daniel prepares every bite-sized meal as if he were operating a live cooking counter at a sushi restaurant. Daniel places the "Flavors of the sea" in front of Eunice and she adds caviar to it before feasting on them. Then he serves everything from oysters, salmon, crab with cod egg, scallops and squid to mackerel, crab fried rice and many more delicious dishes. The couple breaks out into laughter when Eunice rates the whole dining experience curated by her husband an 8 out of 10.

According to Sushi Oma Omakase, the word omakase directly translates to - "I leave it up to you." The term gained popularity in the 1990s. Omakase is more of a chef-curated dinner which is famous for its direct interactions with the chef. The customer leaves the order details to the sushi chef and witness their food prepared directly in front of them. People in the comment section were gushing over the level of effort Daniel put in to spoil his beloved wife. @angelawangnegri joked, "She oughta marry you and have a baby with you... oh wait." @angel_firestone wrote, "Maybe the US birthrate would go up if more wives were rewarded this way after giving birth."

@sheenajewellery shared, "I had my first baby in Japan and the food I got in the hospital for the week after he was born was not too far off from what this guy made!" @nevertoolatetoroam quipped, "You deserve a 10 for the hat alone, don’t even get me started on that meal!" @julissa.mendoza.silva added, "Can I umm borrow your husband so he can teach mine so he knows what to do when I give birth too." Daniel, who is a restaurant owner, previously shared a video of his wife going into labor which received over 39 million views on Instagram.

He documented the whole journey of taking his wife to the hospital, getting her admitted and staying by her side till she was wheeled into the labor room. He also took Eunice for a walk to speed up the labor process and fed her small bits of food while she lay in her bed. After the baby was delivered, Daniel and his mother-in-law came back to the hospital with loads of food for Eunice as she recovered from the stress of childbirth. The rest of the videos on the couple's page also prove that Daniel is nothing less than an ideal husband to Eunice and people should take notes from him.
