When a family comes together to do something special for someone, it turns out to be a memorable event that means so much to them. Similarly, this family decided to make their grandma's 80th birthday extra special with a heartwarming gesture. The entire family turned up wearing something she had stitched for them. Sybil Wheeler–who goes by @sybilwheeler on TikTok–posted a video of her grandma's birthday with everyone wearing similar sweaters in different colors.

The video garnered 45k views on the platform. People loved the sweet surprise the family planned. @modernbaseballenthusiast commented, "I'm gonna cry. This is the cutest thing I've ever seen. She had a lot of burgundy rolls of wool to use up. Love this! My nana/mum are the exact same." @the...archivist shared, "Grandma has some skill with those! They all look so comfy and cute on everyone!" @_ _sophiiiiiie_ _ said, "Aww man. I lost my gran recently and this made me so happy but also so sad. What a talented woman yours is!" @huccccccaaaaa wrote, "All of that time and love laid out in front of her!"

The grandma, Jennifer Wheeler, who hails from Brighton in Southern UK, loves knitting for her four children and 10 grandchildren. Sybil, her granddaughter, told Newsweek that her grandmother was thrilled and moved when she saw everyone was wearing the sweater she made and called it her favorite birthday yet. "Celebrating 80 is obviously a monumental milestone and although most of us could get together to celebrate it, it's not always possible being from such a big family!" she said.

Talking about the sweaters, Sybil said that she and her siblings grew up wearing matching jumpers and later used them to dress up their teddies. In the last five years, she said that Jennifer had started to make sweaters in a particular style and she made it for all the family members, even the new additions. She said, "My grandma has become a bit of a weapon with churning out this particular style of jumper in the past five years, so much so that we all have multiple colors and any new addition to the family will get one too."

"I'm one of five children, so my partner and all my siblings' partners will all have their own 'grandma's jumper,'" the woman stated. She added that everytime they meet for a birthday or holiday, she asks them who is next and what color they want. Sybil shared that she posted the video on TikTok because she loves documenting her experiences and creating memories. She said, "I love TikTok for this reason and my grandma was amused by me calling her 'the internet's grandma' now! And us being compared to the real-life Weasley Family—a comparison we've had before this."
