The popular quizzing game "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" has transformed several ordinary people into instant millionaires with its life-altering cash prizes. The reality show has offered unexpected financial opportunities to contestants from all walks of life. However, one particular episode of the Finnish version of the show, featuring Henrik Ahonen, gained popularity for a surprising reason. When asked a serious question about the "Capital of Thailand," the options were so absurdly funny that they had the audience — and later, the social media — in uncontrollable laughter. The hilarious video was shared by Australian comedian Marty Fields (@Martyfields) on X.

What initially began as a typical question on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" went haywire when Finnish actor Antti Holma read the answer options: Bangkok, Bangdik, Bangpusi, and Bangtits. Yes, you read that right! What was supposed to be a serious quiz moment quickly transformed into a comedy show. Even the contestant on the hot seat, Ahonen, was caught off guard by the absurd and silly options. He was momentarily stunned before suppressing his laughter and keeping a straight expression. That moment became so iconic that, nearly two years later, it still goes viral.

Similarly, the clip evoked some humorous reactions from the people. For instance, @engdahl_erik commented, "Schoolboy humor but very funny." @andynwoodard wrote, "Only s*x tourists know the answer to this one." @jorosey1 added, "A lot of people in the US and Australia would struggle to answer that correctly." @kevmannz619 said, "Lol! English translation not required for that double entendre." On the other hand, @glenn45442604 shared, "That's so funny! Bang all of them." Meanwhile, @chippy7 chimed in, "And the answer? All of them...On a Friday night!"

While Ahonen's episode went viral because of its comical angle, another episode of the American version of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" became popular due to its emotional angle. It was in 1999 when John Carpenter made history as the first-ever winner of the show. When he reached the final question, he shocked everyone by using his lifeline—not because he needed help, but to call his father. During the game, Regis Philbin asked about the U.S. President who appeared on the TV show "Laugh-In." Further, he presented four options: Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, Jimmy Carter, and Gerald Ford.

Meanwhile, Carpenter looked at Philbin and said, "I would like to call my parents right now. Use my lifeline; call my parents." When the host asked whom he wanted to call, Carpenter replied, "My father; I'll talk to my father." They called the contestant's father, and in a delightful surprise, Carpenter told his dad, "Hi, Dad. I don't really need your help. I just wanted to let you know that I'm going to win the million dollars."

Hearing the heartfelt conversation, Philbin smiled as the venue filled with loud cheers from the audience. "Because the U.S. President who appeared on 'Laugh-In' is Richard Nixon, that's my final answer," Carpenter said in the end, and, of course, went on to become the first-ever millionaire on the reality show.
