Someone asked Natalie (@natalieeab) if she knew her boyfriend had planned for her proposal, and so she posted a video of him running to the venue because they were apparently "30 minutes behind schedule." Her TikTok, which has received over a million views, led to other women sharing how their partners accidentally revealed they were going to propose, and it's hilarious.

"We got in an Uber to go to 'dinner,' and the Uber driver kept asking, 'Are you sure this is the right address? There is no restaurant there. It’s just a secluded section of beach.' Through gritted teeth, my bf kept being like, 'Yup. It’s the right place.'" - @gorgonzolaontoast

2. When the husband mentioned 'Aesthetic picnic'

"Me, when my husband said, 'I want to have an aesthetic picnic on this trip; let’s scope out a spot.' When has a man ever said the words 'aesthetic picnic' and 'need to pick the spot a day before?'" - @nicoleinlisbon

3. 'Quick walk' before a fancy dinner

"As soon as I tested negative for COVID (which ruined his original plan), he booked a dinner reservation at a fancy restaurant and suggested we leave 2 hours early to go for a 'quick walk' at a park nowhere near the restaurant, even though it was hot and he hates walks." - @lolo5621

4. The one who could not stop admiring the ring

"Lmao, I was getting ready in my bathroom before the hike, and I had an idea he was going to propose. He was on my bed, and I happened to just look over, and I saw him HOLDING THE RING AND ADMIRING IT LMAOOOO. I had to pretend like I didn’t see it so I wouldn’t ruin it for him." - @___777dc

5. Email dropped the secret

"Mine asked me to check his email for our flight confirmation to Paris. There was an email thanking him for his purchase from an engagement ring store." - @renesaurusrex

6. When he insisted on 'cute beach pictures.'

"Mine told me we were going to the beach, but to change clothes and do my makeup so we could take 'cute beach pictures.' I was so freaking antsy by that time, I was just happy to know it was happening." - @leoloverrr

7. Proposal on Thanksgiving

"I came over to his parents' for Thanksgiving. He opened the door to greet me, and he gave me a side hug, and he was sweating profusely. The entire evening, he was barely making any eye contact, and his sweating continued. Then we sat down in the living room and saw everyone pointing cameras at us. Lol, a little obvious!" - @1234abcde143

8. The one who lied about the ring!

"I sat down at his kitchen table to build a LEGO set and saw a ring box, and when I asked about it because I was trying to clear off the table, he took it and said it was his mom’s. He was showing it off to his friends the night before. We got engaged the following weekend!" - @nivalis9

9. The one who kept asking questions.

"I knew because during a hike he kept asking if I was really going to be able to put up with him forever. And he kept asking it. It’s fair of him to have asked, though; he is truly the most Larry David person I’ve ever met. 14 years this November." - @ollee32

10. The one where she was forced to get on a cliff

"The day before, he said, 'Wow, this would be a beautiful place to get engaged.' The next day we were pulling out, and he stopped, ran to the other vehicle, and came back with a very suspicious item behind his back. Then, when we got to the location, I REFUSED to climb, and everyone kept yelling at me, saying I had no choice but to get on the cliff. I kept saying, 'NOO, whatever is happening can happen down here on the ground.'" - @rebekahsweet1

11. When she said, 'No way he made that dinner reservation without a reason'

"My husband, who never plans anything on trips, sent me a detailed list with times about a month before our trip. Mind you, I thought we were just going to Nashville to visit one of his best friends, but it was actually for him to propose to me. I had a feeling the second he sent me the time for the dinner reservation." - @rachelmurrayyy915

12. When he wore a jacket in the scorching heat

"Mine was carrying a jacket around all morning in 90-degree heat WITH PANTS ON because the ring box wouldn’t fit in his pocket. Mind you, we'd been dating for over 4 years, and I could count on my fingers the number of times he’s worn pants when it’s not required." - @wowanotheremma

13. When he said 'wear something cute' for a game of hockey!

"We were supposed to go to a hockey game (that was the cover-up). While I was getting ready, he told me, 'Wear something cute; we're going to take photos at the game.' Which he NEVER says because he always tells me he thinks I’m beautiful ALL the time. Then he got nervous poops and was being so weird all day." - @alexass__

14. The sudden urge to 'host' people

"Mine decided to clean our outdoor area that we never use when NYC was sepia-toned from the Canadian forest fires a few summers ago, 'in case we wanted to have some people over.' We also never host since our apartment is so small." - @uhlyssareyes

15. The one who wanted to do a presentation in front of the family

"He said he wanted to do a presentation on our relationship with my whole family there, and at the end, I was still confused about the whole thing. An hour before that, he was trying to get me all pumped, and I said, 'Why? For my family?' The poor man could’ve outright said, 'I’m proposing tonight,' and I would’ve laughed." - @roniiespinoza14
