Furry companions can drive people up the walls and make them melt to the ground with their adorable shenanigans. But over the years they left people in Zoom meetings and television viewers all mushy after interrupting meetings and news broadcasts during the gloomy days of the pandemic. Although most people would be embarrassed or puzzled when a dog or cat walks in while they are live or on a call, Meteorologist Evan Andrews (@EvanAndrewsFox4) from Dallas-Fort Worth, flaunts his furry friends on air. As a result, his pets have gained more popularity than him with their cute cameos during his live weather reports.

In 2020, people shared some adorable pictures of Andrews' dog sleeping on a tiny couch behind him while he was reporting live from his home. Similarly, a Reddit user posted a snapshot of the pooch taking a peaceful nap and the comment section went crazy. "The weatherman dog had a small dog couch," the user captioned the post. "It was the best thing I have seen on TV," someone added in one of the comments.

The Reddit post garnered a lot of attention and people showered their love and adoration for the furry canine. "That’s a smart weatherman. I’d tune in just to see the dog again," said u/SugarFreeChurro. "I'm sure he purposely placed it there for the whole world to see! This warms my heart," remarked u/sped_sond_sunic. "Oh my gosh, how adorable is that pup? He has his own little couch and bone pillow. So cute," added u/Rosegarden24

Andrews is known for often showing off his furry friends on the internet as well as on camera. His work-from-days during the COVID-19 pandemic was filled with their cameos as his dogs and cat became a part of his workday. "My morning WFH crew," Andrews shared on X, along with an adorable picture of his pooches playing around their famous "couch." Around the same time, he also flaunted his tortoise Frederick on camera while reporting live. "Best part of WFH? Sharing the family farm! Frederick is a hit!" he wrote in the caption with a snapshot of him holding his tortoise.

However, his pet dachshund Penny sleeping on the couch while her dad was ardently doing a weather report was something that melted people's hearts. John Jeffries–who goes by @Jeffries6306 on X–couldn't help but share Penny's cute nap on the platform. "Evan, Your dog has the life I want!" Jeffries captioned the post. Fox 4's Vice President Robin Whitmeyer (@tvbossy) also joined the bandwagon of Penny's admirers. She loved how Andrews' two pooches were sharing a couch during one of his reports and wrote in her post, "Penny sharing her 'tiny' couch. Furry Friends. Watching dad do the weather."

Similar to Andrew, another weatherman meteorologist Anthony Farnell–who was the weatherman for Global News Toronto, was also interrupted in an adorable manner. He was focused on reporting the weather when his Mini Goldendoodle, Storm, peeked into the frame for a treat. "Yes, Storm is in the building, getting some treats, walking on thin air," quipped Farnell, taking a jibe at his hungry pet and the internet loved it.
