Some people's love for fictional worlds and imaginary heroes drives them to do insanely hilarious things. For instance, some put extra effort into cosplay, recreating their favorite character's looks and actions. One person took the game up a notch and decided to go to a movie theatre in style, dressed up as the male lead of the blockbuster movie, "Dune: Part Two." With people all over the world bubbling with enthusiasm to watch the recently-released movie, this cosplayer went a little overboard on his fanaticism and made a grand entry, riding a homemade sandworm. A fellow movie-goer, Josh Gammon, who was in the vicinity captured the amusing scene and shared it on TikTok.

Jesse Myer, a social media content moderator from Tulsa, dressed up in the outfit worn by the Fremens, a fictional group of people in the "Dune" film series, and rode a homemade sandworm, known as Shai-Hulud in the films. As per his interview with the Entertainment Weekly, he spent all weekend fabricating the sandworm vehicle. Though the giant sandworms were considered a massive threat in the first part of the "Dune" movie, the second part shows riding a sandworm to be a significant Fremen skill, as per Screen Rant.

So, with a seamless style mimicking Timothee Chalamet's character Paul Atreides in the movie, the Fremen lookalike circled the lobby of AMC movie theatre in Tulsa on the makeshift sandworm. But, not many seemed to notice Myer's shenanigans probably because they weren't aware that Paul Atreides would be flaunting his sandworm ride in the new part.

Myer - who goes by @redprintsrising on TikTok, shared videos of him riding the worm through the sunny streets, in the movie theatre's parking lot and into the lobby. He even drank a blue-colored iced drink depicting the "Water of Life" that Paul Atreides consumes in the movie. Expressing his gratitude to the AMC theatres, he wrote, "Thanks for letting me harness the desert."

While Myer had already made the Fremen's "stillsuit" for a local convention, he just had to "figure out a way to make the worm." Using collapsible tunnel tubes and long sheets of fabric, Myer crafted the worm, "Shai-Hulud," and attached it to his one-wheel electric skateboard. While Fremen used hooks to hang onto the giant worm, Myer used massage sticks.

The cosplayer became an instant hit online with over 4.4 million views for his video in just a day. People were revved up about the "Lisan-al-Gaib" imitation. "I saw this and immediately went to see 'Dune 2,' that's advertising," commented @yung.krunchy_thesaucy. "The spice is strong with this one," wrote @hub.bubba. "Drinking the Water of Life at the end is on point," commented @fakkoprime.

The power of TikTok made Myer's cosplay captured by Gammon reach Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show." While speaking about the buzz the movie had created, Fallon playfully mentioned, "My proctologist saw it twice." Telecasting the viral video on the show, Fallon said, "One guy showed up to the theater riding his own sandworm." Being the amazing comedian that he is, Fallon didn't miss the chance to take a jive at Myer. "Haha, even weirder if he was like, 'One ticket for Madame Web, please,'" joked Fallon.
