Video of a guide trying to locate the ground floor in a Chinese city is absolutely mindboggling

The world has unique and intriguing places to explore and that’s why traveling is an absolute delight. Several places have their own heritages and popular stories that are a pleasure to experience. A man who goes by @hughchongqing on TikTok has left people baffled with his viral video on the exquisite city of Chongqing. While the city is known for its design and is economically important, there is one element about it that leaves tourists awestruck. As a tour guide in Chongqing, he shared a glimpse of the majestic place and the thrilling visual experience of being there.

“In Chongqing, we never know which floor we’re on. It looks like I’m on a square, the streets are over there,” said the man before he left the viewers stunned. He then moved ahead and said, “But if we go there, we’re now on the 22nd floor.” With just a matter of a few footsteps, the man seemed to have changed floors without even knowing it and that is exactly the mind-boggling mystery of the place. He then unraveled more about the place, browsing through the several places within the building. “If we use the elevator, it says we’re on the 12th floor,” said the man, as puzzled as anyone would be. He then moved in the elevator to the 8th floor, went to the garage and somehow found his way out.

From there, the man found another entrance just a few steps ahead and revealed that it showed that the board said that he was on the 13th floor. Revealing the bizarre yet authentically inspiring structure of the place, the man moved to the building next to it via a bridge that connected the two structures. He gave a glimpse of the breathtaking view 13 floors up on a bridge and it was indeed a magnificent sight. As the place kept getting confusing yet astonishing, the man walked around only to find himself back on the streets without any stairs or elevators. He then says, “If we go out from the 4th floor in the building next to it, we’re out on the streets again.” As the man moved to another building, it read that they were on the 8th floor. It was simply stunning to experience the depths and heights without barely climbing stairs or using a lift.

The guide took the lift to the first floor, only to find a gate that led him out on the streets again. As he moved on to explore another building, he shared, “There’s a train to go through the building.” The architecture is indeed remarkable. The man went into another building and took the elevator to the 22nd floor, only to find himself back on the square where he had originally started. Viewers were left speechless by the exemplary maze crafted in Chongqing. The video went viral and amassed millions of views and 8K comments.
