Recently, 88-year-old Maggie Smith showcased how age was just a number by featuring in luxury fashion house Loewe's Instagram.

Most people will know her for playing the role of Professor Minerva McGonagall in the blockbuster "Harry Potter" movie series. She has also been the recipient of many accolades over her film career. Smith has received two Academy Awards, five BAFTA Awards, three Golden Globes and a Tony. Loewe is a Spanish luxury fashion house that provides high-end products.

She initially began modeling at the ripe age of 69 when she signed up with NEXT Models and managed to gain over 300,000 followers on TikTok, all of whom enjoy her body-positive content. The primary message behind her content is that people should wear what they want to and that age should not be a factor when it comes to fashion.

In one of her TikTok posts, she shattered stereotypes about the ideal swimsuit body, saying, "Wear what makes you feel good! Everybody is a swimsuit body." She spoke to DScene about her style, saying, "I tend to wear at this stage of my life clothing I never would have chosen when younger." Heidemann also mentioned that she controlled her diet a lot and maintained a healthy level of physical activity.

Her dietary plan revolves around mostly consuming vegetables that are raw or grilled. In addition to that, she consumes very little meat and sugar. She spoke about how she has to contend with ageism every day in her life. The fashion icon further shared that after menopause came the "Age of Irrelevance." However, she chose to look upon the period as an "Age of Enlightenment."
