UPS driver helps woman hide surprise package for her fiancé and the internet can't get enough of it

When you plan a surprise for someone and you get busted, you obviously would feel devasted. But when Hannah Pierce, of Auburn, New York was going to face this issue, a UPS delivery driver came to her rescue. This UPS driver went above and beyond to deliver a package for his customer. Helping people out for absolutely no benefit in return is what makes this world still feel good. The video of how the package was successfully delivered was posted on her TikTok @ayoohannah.The video gathered 3.8 million views and was captioned, "Please enjoy my interaction with the best UPS Driver ***back story: I had a birthday gift delivered for my fiancé and I knew that the packaging was obvious & would give it away; so this is what my delivery driver did… he lied and all for me."

Hannah had ordered a surprise birthday gift for her fiancé that she didn't want him to see. Unfortunately, Hannah was not at home when the package arrived. When the doorbell rang with the delivery, her fiancé, Jason, was home, sick and sleeping. Hannah dialed the number for UPS driver Rick Wilson from her office. "Hannah, I got you covered, honey," Rick is heard saying on the doorbell camera video. "All right, thank you so much. Hide it if you can, because it's present for Jason," Hannah replied back. By then, Jason had jumped out of bed when he heard the doorbell ring. Rick was quick to respond when Jason answered the door. "I don't have a delivery. I got the wrong house," Rick said to him. Before Rick left for his next stop, the two talked about where to hide the package and he hid it under the gate. "You got it, honey. See you," he told her. "You're the best. Bye. I owe you one, Rick. God, I love you," she praised Rick. 

People on TikTok were impressed. "Someone find this man so we can all bless him with some cash just for being a good human," commented @Johnny. "Now THAT is what every UPS driver should be like! Someone who obviously loves his job and does it right," wrote @cynicaldreams81. "It was mind-blowing. I didn't expect him to go above and beyond. And as soon as he did, I was, my heart sank because a lot of people wouldn't do this," Hannah shared with Inside Edition Digital. "Half the time I get packages and they're kind of just thrown on the porch or not in the best places. But Rick takes his job very seriously and he's one of the best, if not the best. He's been doing this – I'm 25 – so as long as I've been alive," she says. Rick is also a part of a band called Infinity CNY. "He's a great singer. He's just very well known," she added. Hannah had purchased a new gold necklace chain for Jason from Kay Jewelers because his previous one had broken. "I told him if he finds out through the news that I will maybe give it to him early," she shared.
