'Unemotional' brother fights back tears as sister asks him to be daughter's godfather

Some people don't show their emotions as openly as others. However, that does not mean that they don't feel as deeply. Despite the facade they wear to hide their emotions, some feelings might seep in under special circumstances. A woman named Mackenzie Newhouser—who goes by @shoresidekenz on TikTok—shared a similar moment with her younger brother in a video. People found the brother's silent display of emotions heartwarming.

The brother took the envelope and started reading it. It probably had a message asking him to become the baby's godfather. As soon as he sees it, his eyes start welling up with tears and his lip quivering. He quietly puts the note back in the envelope after holding onto it for some time. As an answer he lightly nods his head, saying that he wants to take up the responsibility his sister offers.

Newhouser writes in the caption, "'Sweet Creature' by Harry Styles always reminded me of the love I have for my brother and why it always makes it one of my favorites by him. He will probably kill me for posting him, but the face when he realized what I was entrusting him with was priceless. I love you, Mason." Several people took to the comments to point out the brother's wholesome way of expressing emotions.

In another similarly heartwarming story, parents asked their baby's nurse to become his godmother after he spent six months in a neonatal care unit. The baby was born prematurely and had several health complications. per TODAY. However, the family was about to get through the challenges because a sweet nurse called Carly Miller was by their side the entire time. The nurse would talk to the baby sweetly and look after all his needs with affection according to Austyn Evans, the baby's mom. Even at points when the parents couldn't hold their baby the nurse reassured them with the way she looked after him.

As baby Conrad had a kidney problem he was given renal replacement therapy at a point. Now, even though it was not Miller's department she got on board and helped the baby get through it. "I would come in and say, 'Hi' really loud, and immediately he started looking around to try to figure out where (I'm) at," Miller shared. The parents didn't get much help from their family because of the ongoing pandemic at that time. However, Miller supported them in every way possible. So, when it was time to have a godmother for the baby the parents asked Miller who was overjoyed and said yes.
