One Uber driver's creativity in instructing his passengers about safety before their ride has left social media users in splits.
Uber rides are anything but super entertaining on a daily basis. One books a ride and just hopes to reach their destination on time. But unlike other drivers, this Uber driver is featuring in headlines for giving his passengers the greatest ride of their life by providing them with an innovative and one-of-a-kind experience that they will always. @heyitsadiazran shared an interesting video that has garnered over 7 million views since it was posted.
In the viral video, we can see a nervous-looking man and woman in the backseat of an Uber ride. The text overlay reads: "Our Uber won’t drive till we hear the car rules." It is followed up by some crying emojis. The video was captioned: "Bro thinks this is American Airlines." The video basically makes a reference to how the safety instructions play out on flights usually. However, it isn't a generic presentation. The driver sings while a music video of him narrating the safety instructions to his passengers plays on the car screen.
The music of the safety presentation video matches that of Drake's hit track "God's Plan." All of a sudden, disco lights start blinking and it almost feels like the passengers are in a club as they start hyping the catchy beats of the safety instruction mixtape. The music video shows the enthusiastic Uber driver standing next to a graffiti wall while singing, "Welcome to my Uber, please buckle for me. No smooching in the back, but you can cuddle with me. Kidding. Extra charge!" The passengers start enjoying the groovy presentation. It concludes with the driver asking the passengers to feed him if they stop somewhere for food.
"Now, do you guys have any questions?" Adi Azran asks the people in the backseat after the presentation wraps up. Upon closer inspection, TikTok users could clearly tell that the whole video is actually a comedy skit that Azran has planned with his friends. Azran himself plays the mixtape-making Uber driver whereas two of his friends who frequently appear in his other TikTok videos, play the passengers. Still, fellow users expressed how much fun they had watching the clip in the comments section.
@bigloachy pointed out: "The way he's getting so hyped over his own mixtape every ride." @hillaryxtinaaa joked: "I wouldn’t even need him to take me anywhere I’d pay him just to watch that." Azran replied to this comment clarifying that "the driver wouldn’t let that fly and he’s gotta get the passenger to the destination and do the job he was meant to." @kayla_kunt wrote: "God I pray to be this confident, like this is a skit from The Office." @cameronkaybrown commented: "Okay I thought this was gonna be someone who’s paranoid and strict about their car but he’s really just trying to have a fun environment." @nolamomof2 commented: "Honestly I would rather him than some of the Uber drivers I’ve had."
