The duo unfurled a large banner about the power of love.

One of the most daring stunts ended in a beautiful declaration of love. Two people went viral for climbing to the top of New York's Empire State Building on July 1 and unfurled a banner with a message reading, "When the power of love beats the love of power, the world knows peace," reported BBC. The pictures went viral online instantly, sparking debate on the identity and motive of the daredevils. As Americans tuned in to watch the pair standing at the top of the Empire State Building at 1,454 ft. After they climbed down to a smaller platform, one of them appeared to get down on one knee and propose. The pair then exchanged kisses before descending down from the platform.
The couple was at the top for over ten minutes before scaling down the building. The New York Police Department confirmed that the pair was taken into custody for further investigation. The pair were pictured wearing black, along with helmets. Early unconfirmed reports suggest the dardevil pair was Angela Nikolau and her boyfriend Ivan Beerkus.
