President Donald Trump was slammed after he claimed Joe Biden would be "shot" within three weeks of taking office. Trump claimed that Joe Biden being "shot" would pave way for Kamala Harris to step in as President. Trump was slammed for his choice of words, with some claiming Trump was hinting at Biden being assassinated while others claimed Trump was talking about Biden's mental health, which the Trump campaign has repeatedly targeted. The President made a reference to the 25th amendment which Pelosi had threatened to use against Trump to claim he was mentally unfit. He claimed the Democrats planned to invoke the amendment to make Kamala Harris the President. "That's why they're talking about the 25th amendment, right? Three weeks. Three weeks in, Joe's shot, 'Let's go Kamala, are you get ready?' Most liberal person in the Senate," said Trump. He also claimed that Kamala Harris was more liberal than Senator Bernie Sanders, which isn't true.

The President also used the words "shot" on Twitter while targeting Biden but it appeared to be a reference to his mental health more than anything. The President called Joe Biden as “weak and shot,” before claiming that he had done more in his first term as President than what Joe Biden had done in his entire career as a public servant, including his terms as Senator and Vice President. Trump didn't elaborate on his achievements. “I’ve done more in less than 4 years than Biden’s done in more than 40 years, including for Black America,” tweeted Trump on Monday morning, reported Fox News. “Biden has been a part of every failed decision for decades. Bad Trade Deals, Endless Wars, you name it, he has shown a complete lack of leadership. He’s weak and shot!!!” Donald Trump's assessment of his own stint at the White House comes as America is recording the highest daily Coronavirus cases in nearly two months

By invoking the 25th Amendment, a president can be removed, either temporarily or permanently, if he or she becomes unable to discharge his or her duties due to illness or other circumstances but refuses to voluntarily give up power. Earlier this month, Pelosi had threatened to invoke the 25th amendment after claiming Trump wasn't fit to carry out his duties as President. The President had been under heavy medication on account of having contracted the virus at the time. Pelosi made the claims shortly after Donald Trump conveyed to his team to pull out of all coronavirus stimulus talks with Democrats. Trump hinted he would further talk about the stimulus package only after the election.

"The president is, shall we say, in an altered state right now," Pelosi told Bloomberg TV suggesting he may not be mentally fit to be President. "I don’t know how to answer for that behavior. There are those who say when you are on steroids or have Coronavirus, there may be some impairment of judgment." Pelosi's suggestion to invoke the 25th Amendment riled up Trump. Crazy Nancy is the one who should be under observationtweeted Trump. They don’t call her crazy for nothing!

In July, Trump challenged Biden to take a cognitive test, which was essentially a test to determine if one had dementia and Alzheimer's. He brought it up during an interview with Chris Wallace of Fox News. Trump bragged about acing an online 'cognitive test' which he claimed Joe Biden wouldn't even be able to pass. "Let's take a test right now. Let's go down, Joe and I will take a test. Let him take the same test that I took," said Trump. One of the questions Trump labeled "tough" required participants to tell them the date. "I took the test too when I heard that you passed it ... It's not - well, it's not the hardest test. They have a picture of an elephant and it says 'what's that' and it's an elephant," said Chris Wallace deflating his claims about it being a "difficult" test.
