The most joyous sight to witness in the world is a child's happiness. China recently witnessed an event like this when several kids with disabilities experienced snow, per South China Morning Post. For every kid, it is a dream to play in the snow, make snow fairies as well as snowmen and wreak havoc with snowballs. Unfortunately, it remains a fantasy for many because of living in tropical locations. For kids, it is impossible to travel to places with snow without any help from parents. Sometimes, they also find their hands tied with monetary problems. The parents of these kids with disabilities were also facing such similar predicament. However, Beijing Truck Home Information Technology appeared as their angel and fulfilled the kids' dream of playing with snow.

Beijing Truck Home Information Technology is a company located in Northern China. The initial purpose of the trip, as published by the Lai Times, was to test the performance of cold-storage vehicles while traveling large distances. The assignment helped the experts in the company to figure out the parameters they need to keep in mind so that the things in the storage are intact throughout the journey. This examination was crucial as these transfers are essential to the clothing, food, housing and transportation industries on both sides of the country. The company invested 200,000 yuan (US$28,000) for the project and used three trucks. In recent times, playing snow in Harbin has gained a lot of popularity, especially amongst children. Since Harbin was the location they were starting with, the company decided to bring some of the joy in the form of snow to Guangzhou Xingzhi Chengzhang School.

Guangzhou Xingzhi Chengzhang School is a learning institution for children with autism and other learning disabilities. Their teacher surnamed Xiao, shared that the children had a gala time playing in the snow. “For many of the children, it was the first time they had seen snow. They had a great time,” Xiao said. The journey was not at all easy for the drivers, but the thought of the cheer they were going to spread amongst the children kept them going.

The drivers covered 3,300 km from the city of Harbin in Heilongjiang province in northeastern China to Guangdong in the southeastern part of the country. “We’re giving the snow to a special school in the south, giving a chance for children to experience the fun of snow fighting and making snowmen,” an employee said. After reaching the school on January 31, the employees released 80 cubic meters of snow for the children to play in. “Although the snow melts quickly, we do hope it will bring little moments of happiness to the children,” another employee said. Even the employees joined in the fun and remembered their younger days.

Not only kids and adults but dogs also are fans of snow. Maggie, a sweet pup, decided to frolic in the snow on her last day on earth and, by the looks of it, had one heck of a time. The whole experience was captured on X (formerly known as Twitter). Her parent expressed gratitude towards Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation for doing everything to make the pup's day comfortable and joyful in the park despite less-than-ideal weather conditions.
