Ever since the teacher posted her reply, the trolling man deleted his social media account, proving that she did the perfect thing.
It is quite reasonable to consider that how someone represents themselves on social media is not always their reality. However, even this reasoning does not justify the act of baiting someone online. When one person plays the trolling drum, others start following the rhythm, eventually smearing the reputation of that social media user, who may be genuine. Similarly, in a story making rounds on social media, a third-grade teacher from Idaho, Jenny—who goes by @teacher_mom03 on X—had to face a nasty troll on the platform where a man sowed seeds of doubt against her by calling her “the fakest teacher” he had seen. Jenny responded to his remarks with a savage clapback.
This goes back to July 2024. Jenny, who is known for sharing tidbits and snippets from her classroom and teaching routine, posted a tweet to introduce herself to the community. “I’m a 3rd grade Idaho teacher. I love connecting with others on here. Teaching is the hardest yet most rewarding job ever! I love being with kids and watching them grow,” she wrote and shared the link to her Amazon third-grade wishlist. Below the intro, she shared a gorgeous selfie of herself standing in a classroom.
The post received nearly 20,000 views and 60 comments, most of which were positive, encouraging, and applauding.

However, there was one nasty comment by someone called Greg: “[You are] the fakest teacher I’ve ever seen here. Fake hair, fake eyelashes, lip filler.” The comment also included blatantly obscene remarks. However, the man in question has deleted his account ever since the fearless teacher stood up for herself and responded to his comment in a way that must have left him dumbfounded.
“Well ‘Greg.’ No fake eyelashes, lip filler, or hair. I’m an actual teacher and can’t afford that stuff. My dad passed away 5 years ago, so there’s that. Thanks for reminding me how words play an important part in this life. I’ll remember to be kind. I hope you find a smile today somewhere,” the teacher wrote while adding a selfie and the screenshot of Greg’s comment. Her tweet was viewed by a whopping 2 million people in less than a week.
Well “Greg”….

People instantly jumped in to defend and reassure her. “Will never understand why someone would log on and be mean unless they are just extremely unhappy with themselves,” wrote @tyromper. @aguypgh63 called Greg out and said, “You are definitely not fake, and like most women, you don't need all of that extra stuff to be beautiful. Do we know where Greg lives? I'll round up the guys and take him behind the woodshed.” @gov_insights reflected, “People need to find kindness. Or refrain from speaking. No need for you to be attacked like this.” Lauding Jenny, @newinattica wrote, “Thanks for responding with kindness. We could all learn a lesson.”
Greg, clearly, needed more teachers like you when he was younger... 🤔🤷♂️ Haters gon' hate...

It seemed that a flurry of love and kindness rushed through the thread as people echoed the same sentiment. Expressing it, a musician, @melodyandchaos, said, “This is horrible. What have we become?” Reflecting on Greg’s vile words, @soldieruvchrist shared an insight, “There is a deep well of anger and unkindness in the souls of those who are unable to escape the tyranny of their unhappiness.” Whether directly or indirectly, Greg’s bitter words ended up sparking a wave of kindness and unison among people, which reminds us that every cloud has a silver lining indeed.
