Toddlers, at times, are a delightful blend of innocence and surprising maturity. Their curious eyes observe the world around them and sense others' feelings. So, sometimes, these little humans remind us that maturity is not just about age, it’s about the kindness and love we show each day. Recently, one such witty and sensible toddler went viral on the internet for the cute reminder she offered her mom. Mom influencer Taschia Tarter–who goes by @taschiatarter on TikTok–shared a wholesome moment with her toddler in the kitchen and it is so heartwarming that it can uplift anyone having a bad day.

The video from August shows Tarter with her 2-year-old in the kitchen, preparing a meal. "You were having a tough day and your 2-year-old reminds you everything is okay," the text overlay read. The exhausted mom asked the toddler to put a scoop of seasoning into a zip-lock bag, but the little one failed adorably. As the seasoning fell outside the bag and messed up the kitchen counter, the mom seemed a bit flustered after an already tough day. But the child instantly reassured her mom, saying: "It's okay. Sometimes, we make messes, Mom. It's okay. I made a mess with my food when I was a baby."

Hearing these cute and heartening words, the mom's face lit up with a smile. She nodded in agreement with her daughter and went on to prepare the meal. "My sweet girl. Always there when I need her," Tarter captioned the video. Being a mom of two very young children, she was quite stressed about juggling everything. That particular day was quiet as Tarter managed to put her one-year-old to sleep and prepare chicken tikka masala for dinner, as per Newsweek. Spilling the seasoning was almost a breaking point for the stressed mom, but the reassurance from her toddler, Brynlee, uplifted her. "When she said that I was thinking to myself, 'You're right, it really is OK,'" she told the outlet.

Tarter added that Brynlee's sensibility stemmed from the gentle parenting approach they follow at home when kids make a mess. This video went viral with over six million views in a month. "Little people are so healing. Truly brings life to a full circle. It's ok to struggle. Humans struggle. But we also persevere!" said @princessmellow. "This is a product of loving and patient parenting. She's definitely heard this from you!" lauded @brynncallahan. "Not once was she even worried you would be mad and instead spoke to you like you speak to her. Good job, Mama. Sometimes they know just what we need," chimed in @kperry427.

While speaking of empathetic little ones, a 3-year-old made a sweet gesture for her mom who felt left out and this video had the internet crying. McKenna Bangerter—who goes by @kennabang on Instagram–shared the video where she, her husband and her 3-year-old daughter, Tommy, were sitting on the floor with the camera pointed at them. Their youngest daughter was closer to the camera and the parents were having a little contest to see whom the baby would crawl to. To the mom's dismay, the baby chose her dad. So, thoughtful little Tommy went to the starting point and crawled to the mom so that her mom wouldn't feel left out.
