Toddler 'fixing daddy's heart' after calling someone else her 'first true lover' is simply adorable

Kids are adorable and more often than not, speak only what is in their hearts. While on most days their unfiltered honesty is beautiful, on some days - it can downright hurt your heart a little bit. In a video posted by a mom who goes by Lanie Churco (@laniechurco) on Instagram, she shows us a snippet of a cute conversation happening between her husband Nick and their daughter Blakeley.

The video begins with Blakeley sitting on Nick's tummy, while Lanie is recording. The mom begins by asking her little girl a question. She tells Blakeley, "I have to ask you a question. Who will always be your first true love?" After taking a moment to think about it, Blakeley says, "Umm, Jack!" To that, Nick immediately gasps while Lanie reconfirms the name. Nick then proceeds to act offended that his little girl's true love was someone else. When he expresses the same by saying, "You did not," little Blakeley pushes him. To that, he picks her up and asks her to get off of him while the girls giggle. However, after he does do that, little Blakeley tells him, "You just broke my heart." To that, papa Nick says, "No, you just broke my heart," acting all hurt and sad. 

While Nick proceeds to tell his wife how he couldn't believe that Blakeley said what she said, Blakeley seems to have other plans. She promptly says, "I can fix it," as she proceeds to "fix daddy's heart." When she was done, she happily exclaimed "All better." However, Nick disagreed. That didn't stop Blakeley though. She continued to try to console her father. She also gave Nick some nice arm scratches to make it all better. Nick melts and says that he might need some flowers too. Before Blakeley could react to that, Laine asked again the same question. This time, however, Blakeley was prepared and immediately said her papa would remain her "first true lover" while hugging him. However, when Laine asked him if she was sure it was Nick, Blakeley changed her mind and said, "Jack!" 

Once again, Nick was heartbroken and upset. However, before he could say something, Blakeley covered his mouth. So Nick did what any dad would - he lay down on the ground with his face facing the carpet and sobbed. While Blakeley tried to comfort her papa, she kept telling him how she just loved Jack. She was momentarily distracted from her Papa's crying when her bow fell, but she mostly kept trying to pacify him. The bow, however, made Nick feel like it was more important to her than him and he dramatically stormed off towards the door. As he was trying to leave, Blakeley kept trying to stop him. However, when he sarcastically told Blakeley that Jack would be coming to pick her up, she simply said "okay" and left her papa to leave. While Nick did leave the house, he came back a moment later because it was cold outside - and that was the end of the video with lots of chuckles from Laine and Blakeley, all thanks to Nick's theatrical behavior.

One would have thought oh yeah, it’s Dad for sure. But then the mum pressed on with the question and she then said Jack again. Lol, I see this even with grown women, just surprised at how young it starts."
