Toddler adorably belting 'You're My Sunshine' for mom is a whole mood: 'Best version I've ever heard'

As babies grow up, they try to mimic all the things they observe in their surroundings. Sometimes, they try to mimic how adults behave and watching such tiny tots act like older people is a sight to sore eyes. Imagine watching those little humans who can not walk or talk properly, singing like a rockstar. That was what little Hadley did as she created a cute version of the country song "You Are My Sunshine" when she was a toddler. In January, Hadley's mom Karsen Roberson–who goes by @karsennroberson on TikTok–shared the throwback video of her little daughter's rock performance, which blew up, garnering over 16 million views and 2.3 million likes.

Playing a guitar almost as tall as her, Hadley sang the country song in her own adorable baby voice. After singing the lines, "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy," the toddler decided to amp it up a little bit. "Bit faster," she yelled and began singing the same lyrics in a much louder voice. Not sure if she had caught this mannerism from watching a singer perform, but she was on point. Wearing nothing but a diaper, shaking her tiny body to the tunes and pronouncing "Sunshine" as "Sancha" in her toddler language. She was also trying to increase the tempo of the song in the middle like a rockstar setting the stage on fire. Her energy was soaring up and she gave her all to deliver a brilliant performance that stole millions of hearts on the internet.

People could not help but pour their love and adoration for the little rockstar and her "bit faster" portion amused many. "This performance deserves a Grammy. Not once did we hear the guitar," joked @nommy_p. "She said 'bit faster' but only got louder. Got to love kids, man," commented @junny_plum. "Never knew I needed a screamo version of you are my sunshine until today," wrote @krystalh91. "That was the most beautiful rendition of that song I've ever heard in my life," lauded @ixchelleveliz. "I was first melting, then I was scared, then I was in love. I have to go unpack my emotions," commented @justmi90.

Speaking of little rockstars going viral, one cannot forget about the little toddler in the Villaesters family who became an internet sensation for his adorable singing. Last August, the family posted a video of the little boy singing his heart out while an older man with a guitar trying to match his tune. Though he was not old enough to sing the lyrics with clarity, the way he gave a charming performance with confidence and exuberating charisma impressed many. Over 98 million views poured in for this video and people were showering love and support for the little boy. At such a young age, the toddler was talented enough to match the tune of the guitar being played even when it was speeding up. He was so good that people wanted to see him become a popular singer in the future.
