Rising rent and a surge in property prices have made it difficult for people across America to find affordable housing. But at the same time, some homes in expensive cities or sought-after localities are fetching high prices without offering a lot of amenities. One such apartment is going viral because it costs a fortune and doesn't even have a bedroom. Omer Labock, a real estate agent, popularly known as @omberlambock on TikTok, shared a video of an apartment in Soho, New York, with no bedrooms. It just had a ladder that one has to climb to reach a loft, where the bedroom is nestled. People on the platform were stunned after knowing there was no bedroom in such an expensive apartment.

In the one-minute video, Labock said, "You won't believe how this apartment is set up because there is not really a bedroom." He then showed the living space with wooden floors, windows, and a kitchen with appliances including an oven and a chimney. It might make people think that the whole house is spacious, but that's not the case. He went on to say, "We are in Soho and overall, this is a really nice apartment, but this is where you will be sleeping." After climbing into the space with a mattress he added, "I successfully made it up here, but my hands are shaking. That was not fun."

Lambock then gave more details about the sleeping area describing it as a sleeve loft. "So, I guess you could easily put like a mattress down here, chill here and use this as kinda like the bedroom sleeping situation," he pointed out. After this, he said that he "successfully came down unharmed" and showed the bathroom that had a washer, dryer, and a clean stand-up shower in grey and white tiles. "This a duplex, so there is a downstairs. So, let's go downstairs and I'll show you guys what is down here," he said. There was a large space that could be used as a second living room or as an office. "It's a really nice closet down here and the total rent of this really interesting apartment is $4,695 a month," he revealed.

The video was captioned, "Can't really imagine sleeping up there, lol." People in the comments shared their thoughts about the expensive place without a bedroom. @lifeentrance commented, "The apartment isn't overpriced per se, but it's not attractive for the price, neither for that area or Manhattan." @user9011740819982 wrote, "I think I would use the downstairs as my bedroom and use that damn loft thing as a freaking attic." @jcrewer shared, "I had a loft apartment with a ladder to the sleeping space. Not pleasant when you need to use the restroom in the middle of the night. Missed the ladder one time." @s.c3268 said, "Paying almost 5 grand to climb a ladder to go to bed. Madness." @happy.cramper.60 remarked, "Bedroom downstairs, storage upstairs. Price is ridiculous."
