This man trying to convince his dog to keep walking home is tickling people's funny bones

Some pets are quite willful and like to do things as they please. They also make it a point to let their owners know who actually calls the shots in their relationship once in a while. In a similar incident, a willful golden retriever refused to move from its spot when its human was trying to take it home. The zoomed-in video was shot from a window and posted on TikTok by Jecuer who goes by @jecuerr on the platform. People laughed in the background as the guy hilariously struggled to take his dog home with him.

As the video began, the camera zoomed in on a dog who was lying flat on its back as the owner held onto it with a leash trying his hardest to get it up and walking. It seemed that the person had been trying to move the dog for quite some time as he stood at his spot for a moment, helplessly looking around for a way to move the dog. When he couldn't think of anything, he even tried to drag the pet as it lay there, still unmoving. He gave up on that and stood calmly as the dog rolled around playfully, probably wanting to stay outside a little longer.

The guy bent down, went on his knees and gave the dog belly rubs to coax it to move. He even leaned close to the dog's face seemingly whispering something in the dog's ear to convince him to follow his lead. The dog simply rolled over and ignored the person until he moved away a little, going back to the same unmoving position in an instant. At one point, the man probably even requested the dog to listen to him. The dog sat up, still unwilling to leave the spot or comply with its human's wishes as people all around enjoyed the dog's funny tantrum. The moment the owner started moving around a little the dog lay back down once again, playing a game that his owner had already given up on.

The man looked around in confusion about what to do next with a slight smile of hopelessness and defeat on his face towards the end of the video. The rib-tickling video received over 1.8 million views and more than 120.6k likes. People took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the humorous situation and point out how it is always the golden retrievers who pull things like these.
