Kids usually have a more unique perspective on problems than most adults do. Most of them have not learned the rigid concepts of right or wrong and hence find it easy to make a decision about things that baffle adults. Similarly, a kid had a never-seen-before and hilarious solution to the "Trolley Problem" that has baffled researchers and philosophers alike for years. A video posted by the Internet Hall of Fame that goes by @InternetHOF on X showed the toddler's jaw-dropping solution to the dilemma.

For context, the trolley problem asks the question if you would kill one person if you could save five people instead, as per The Conversation. The problem involves a scenario where five unsuspecting workers are standing on a tram's tracks and doing their work. The tram is coming at them at full speed and there's no chance of them moving aside before it hits them. You are a witness in this situation and spot a lever that can divert the train on a different track. But this track has one worker. This worker doesn't know about the train either and wouldn't have time to move if you pulled the lever. So the trolley problem asks if as an onlooker in all of this, what would you do?

There are several other versions of the situation to see how people's answers would change. However, the toddler in the video, Nicholas didn't have to think this long and hard to solve the problem. He was playing with his train set when his dad approached him. "Uh oh, Nicholas, this train is going to crash into these five people," the dad said pointing out the five toy people set on one track. "Should we move the train to go this way?" the dad asked pointing at the other track with one person. He continued, "Or should we let it go that way?" The man prompted him, "Which way should the train go?" The boy quickly removed the one person from the other track and put them with the five other people on the other track.

"This way," he said before hilariously moving the train on the track on which all six people were lying. The boy crashed the train into all six people and kept moving the train sending them flying off the track. He only let a small "Uh oh," in response to these people's fate as none of them were saved from the crash. The video received 12.2 million views and 160k likes. People took to the comments section to express their opinion on the kid's funny idea.

Not 'uh oh' them." @arianaunext commented, "Oh that’s not-, here I was thinking he was saving them all." @RDT2587 joked, "And that's how supervillains can be detected since early childhood. Call me Nicholas The Railmaster." @AryMercy remarked, "Taking the time to add the other human to the pile, I thought it would turn out the other way. I have five kids, so I don't know why I felt that." @mpiredivine expressed, "Ah... Lil Bro didn't even use his chill button at all. I guess the Dad must have been wondering... Really? He even got the other man to join them, y'all are all going down."
