We have heard dogs are 'man's best friend' but have you ever thought that a dog could be a landmark on Google Maps? Meet Watermelon, who lives on a street called Amagleba in Tbilisi, Georgia. The street dog even has positive reviews on Google and her fans love to feed her as well, according to BoredPanda. She was named Watermelon because of her spherical shape. The dog has a blue tag on his ear and that means that it is homeless and is harmless to others.

Watermelon is popular on the Internet and there are many who keep a track of her. According to a Twitter user @Sve_tt, "It's a girl! She was fed by her grandmother who lives above the vegetable soup shop during the lockdown. The lady has built her a house out of boxes where the dog currently lives." Another user was surprised to know that the "spherical dog" he meets every day was a "local attraction." He wrote, surprised, "there are even reviews in Google maps."

There are 60 reviews about the dog on Watermelon. Most people call her a "sweet bun." A Twitter user called @catchshirrecat even went out of his way to feed the dog and bought a can of food and encouraged others also to do the same. He wrote, "This is a sweet bun and you can still buy food for her and give it to the store near which it lies. They try to feed the bun only with certain foods because she's old and sick."

With the increasing popularity, more and more people are beginning to take care of the dog and there are chances that she might soon find a home.

Talking about taking care of animals, a volunteer group decided to share food with the rescue animals on Thanksgiving at Salt Lake County Animal Services in Utah. In the adorable video filmed by them, people can be seen preparing food plates for cats and dogs and then giving them in the kennels. It starts with a woman saying, "We were preparing Thanksgiving food for the dogs." Another person says, "This is my fifth year Thanksgiving for the cats. Then they go on to talk about what they brought for the cats, "I got treats, cat nip, and grass." For the dogs, they had "pumpkin, mashed potatoes, wet dog food, some treats, apple sauce."

They also speak about how it is one of the "most fantastic traditions" that they have. Talking about the volunteers, a woman said, "It is fun that these volunteers come out so early in the morning and just do a prep line and get out there." She goes on to talk about how the animals also love it. "It's really fun in the kennels too, we can see their eyes light up, you can get them surprised about it, and it's just quiet down there as they are getting something that they do not typically get and they are so excited about it. They love it."

Later in the video, a person says that they have 84 dogs "who are waiting to find their homes, go to foster, get out of the shelter and find homes. We would love you to come out here and take a look at them."
