The main aim of advertising is to promote the cause and grad the attention of the audience. However, if not done carefully, advertisements can reach the wrong audience. This is exactly what happened when Momentum Church—that goes by @momentumchurch on TikTok—released its trust fall advertisement. The aim was to urge more people to come to church. However, many are concerned about the woman featured in the video. It starts with one woman standing behind the other, ready to take the trust fall. Now, instead of catching the falling woman, the other woman moves away and talks to the camera. As the woman falls with a thump, the other woman says, "Don't trust in men. Trust in god. See you at church tomorrow, all three services, be there."

It is uncertain whether the video made people "trust in god," but it certainly sparked concern over safety measures to help the woman at the back. @woahdudexool commented, "The air leaving her body is god entering her soul." @sosaaaa07 wrote, "The squeak, you know that hurt." @marxzcruz remarked, "That fall knocked the air out of her." @burnerrracountttt_ stated, "I don't think people doing this trend actually fall."

In response to this advertisement, Professor Chesko—who goes by @speechprof on TikTok—made a stitch with the original video. Before showing it to his audience, the man shared that the video he was about to show was not a joke but was posted by a real church. He clarified that he was not mocking faith while talking about this video. "God didn't catch her either," the man stated. He added that he could not understand the point they were trying to make. "Did you hear the sound when she hit the ground?" the concerned creator asked. "I just feel like there has to be a better way to make this point." He wondered if some authority would have seen the video and agreed that this was what the church needed to get people to show up.

@cassb217 shared, "So basically telling us not to trust them. I love it when they are upfront like this." @anniesacresofabundance said, "I thought it was a funny TikTok when I saw it. I didn't know it was an actual church." @notes.to.nina expressed, "I screamed watching her fall! She knew it was gonna happen and she was still not prepared."

In case anyone was worried, the head pastor in the comments swears she was completely fine.

The church posted another video showing the behind-the-scenes of the said advertisement. It turned out that the girl had a pillow underneath her to break the fall and the squeak probably came from that. @ga.nano wrote, "She had the finger up and I was like, 'What's up, brother.' If you know, you know." @chickenburrito1212 expressed, "I just saw the video. Nice, nice, this makes me want to go to church, lol." @scrubqueennc said, "Wait, I was supposed to put something under the person falling? My son didn't." @miiilymagana shared, "Make sure she gets an X-ray on her lower back. I suffered a herniated disc. It's no fun." @migueltron85 voiced, "How many times did she get the wind knocked out of her?"
