He said he can't park his 'bright green Lamborghini' in his garage because of one little problem.

Owning a car is like manifesting trouble, especially if it's in an HOA-governed neighborhood. Josh Zitman (@josh_zitman), an 18-year-old car enthusiast living in a similar setting, faced an unexpected HOA intervention regarding his Lamborghini being parked outside his house. However, he refused to give in and responded with an Instagram video that left them embarrassed.
In his November 2 video, Zitman shared how he'd received a letter accusing him of not following the "Vehicle parking compliance" guidelines. The HOA, in its letter, mentioned that during a community inspection, it found that the teenager's green Lamborghini was often parked in front of his house, in his driveway. "While we appreciate your pride and ownership, we would like to remind you of our community guidelines, which require that all personal vehicles be parked inside their garage when space is available," they added.
Zitman was well aware of the guidelines, but he couldn't keep his "bright green Lamborghini" in his garage because of one little problem. The teenager opened his garage while the camera was rolling and unveiled a Rolls-Royce Ghost that was parked there. "HOA president, if you're watching this, this is why I can't park the Lamborghini in the garage... you forgot I am rich," Zitman responded to the association's complaint. It's safe to say that sounds like a problem all car enthusiasts would want to be blessed with...
Zitman isn't alone in his predicament, and people are sick of the strict parking rules enforced by the association. In fact, in September 2023, YouGov surveyed 1000 U.S. adult citizens and found that 41% of respondents said the HOA shouldn't set parking rules in the neighborhood. This explains why many homeowners living in HOA-governed areas are reluctant to buy vehicles more than usual. Surprisingly, another survey by Frontdoor revealed that more than 1 in 6 homeowners have been fined, often for minor violations, like having more than the allowed number of vehicles parked on their property.
When Zitman posted the video on his account, it went viral overnight with nearly 500k views. Most people supported the car owner while calling out the association for questioning something so irrelevant. For instance, @ef_in_fla commented, " [I have] never heard you can't park your car in your own driveway." @cashpagesceo suggested, "Take Rolls outside and put Lambo inside and wait for their reaction." @dylandeckard7.3 said, "Just look at all the other houses that have their vehicles parked in the driveway."

Similarly, @kuya_jase pointed out, "[It's] crazy how the neighbors in this video have also got their cars parked out in front of their houses and not inside their garages." @rossbobby chimed in, saying, "Don’t park it; pay someone to drive around the neighborhood constantly. I’m sure they would appreciate that instead." @jasonhorhut suggested, "It’s a very simple move, someplace where you don’t have to put up with an HOA." @shane31332 suggested, "Sue them and make them disband the HOA for harassment and extortion."
