A man called his teacher mom’s students as Santa, leaving them laughing and curious in a heartwarming Christmas tradition.
Everyone has their own unique Christmas tradition that brings the festive season to life. These high-spirited customs make the holidays truly special for those seeking a joyful break from their everyday lives. A man decided to do the same by calling his teacher mom’s students, pretending to be Santa Claus. Alex Field, a professional comedian who goes by @alexcfield on Instagram, not only dialed up the little ones but also left them in stitches with hilarious and witty replies. This heartwarming Christmas tradition, carried out by the comedian-turned-Santa, is winning hearts online.
A widely circulating video showed Alex having a telephone conversation with his mom, who had some serious questions to ask. The man recorded their humorous chat, which was being played on his phone’s loudspeaker. The pretend Santa was joined by his mother’s students, each waiting for their turn to ask innocent yet joyful questions. “Hello, I have an important question. Now, I need to know, everyone in this room, is there anybody that's on the naughty list?” his mom asked.
With the Christmas celebrations in full swing, Alex played the part of Santa checking his naughty and nice lists convincingly. To keep his act believable for the little ones, the comedian said, “Well, let me just check twice,” while looking at a random card in his hands. “It looks like everybody is on the nice list,” Alex added, finishing with Santa’s signature joyful laugh. The students were thrilled to hear their beloved cultural figure’s iconic laughter.
Their voices were filled with excitement, looking for an opportunity to ask their own set of questions. While the teacher mom asked her son to stay, one of the students in the background asked a question no one inside the room anticipated. “Hey Santa! Do you know my brother Ian?” the little one asked. Alex had no knowledge of the student’s brother, and they had never met. But, to keep the child’s spirit alive, the comedian responded affirmatively. “Why, of course I know him,” he said, sparking laughter in the classroom. The 30-second footage ended with another student curiously asking Santa if he knew everyone in the room.
The footage showcasing Alex’s heartwarming Christmas tradition with his mom and her students managed to draw widespread attention on social media, receiving some amazing responses. Among them, @sharon_o.j remarked, “The way the baby squealed when you knew her brother Ian.” Echoing a similar sentiment, @lswarting complimented it as “the best Christmas tradition” she ever witnessed. “I need a lot more of these wholesome videos,” @juliatrej0 added. Others complimented the comedian for his “perfect” imitation of Santa Claus’ voice, including his mannerisms.
