After the student made a careless error while submitting her introduction video, the teacher's reply made the whole incident a lot more funnier.
Some situations in life prove that we might have a really low tolerance level. Haven't we all witnessed a child's adorable stomping when they can't get something done? That is their way of expressing their frustration. But adults tend not to express it that strongly. When things don't go right even after multiple attempts, it is natural for most of us to get frustrated. A college student on TikTok, Abi (@virgh*ebabee), had a child-like freak-out episode while filming her video introduction, which she submitted to her teacher. But the real fun lies in how the teacher chose to react to the submitted video and the internet is loving it.
Abi shared the video clip that she uploaded as part of an assignment and the text overlay read, "In honor of the first semester being over, I actually submitted this to my class!" The video clip playing on her laptop showed Abi introducing herself, saying, "I was born in Tennessee and I lived in... Um..." and then she tailed off unable to complete the sentence. What happened next was a comical outburst of her frustration that she couldn't get it right. Abi slammed the table hard and let our high-pitched scream which got muted by the computer. Apparently, the tiresome recording and re-recording the same introduction speech over and over again and not getting it perfectly drove her up the wall.
After a cut, Abi again started her introduction casually saying, "Hello there," with a smile on her face. While submitting the video, the college student was completely unaware that the clipping of her little freak-out episode was also attached. She mentioned in the caption, "I got a 3/3. What about it?" With over 9 million views, Abi's video has gone viral online and thousands of users find it absolutely amusing. "'Um, hello there,' in the most charming tone like we didn’t see the beast that was just unleashed," commented @leeannieeboo. "Everything about this is just so - the silent scream, the 'Oh hello there!' the Dramione fanfiction in the tab over, just everything is perfect," wrote @ravnsx. "I just had an interview and I didn’t know there were no retakes. I screamed at the camera and said, 'Whoops, well this is the real version of me!'" wrote @leahbardin.
Addressing the huge demand from people asking her about her teacher's response to the video, Abi posted another 'teacher's comment reveal' video. captioning it, "Here we go," Abi revealed a webpage where her scores for the introduction video and the teacher's comments were displayed. As if unaware of the student's freak-out scream, the teacher simply replied, "Nicely done! Good to meet you."
While some people thought that the teacher had no sense of humor for not commenting on Abi's scream, others were convinced that the teacher had a nonchalant attitude. Either way, this response amused people. "This proves that they literally don’t watch or read anything we submit," commented @jazzielyric. "I'd have taken that as sarcasm and thought the lecturer and I had a built-in comedic rapport," wrote @countlessdbag.
