Most teachers are not only involved in a child's education but in their emotional growth and well-being as well. Many times, one teacher's class could be a kid's safe place in school or in life. After knowing about a kid's difficult situation, a teacher might want to do more for them, but most of the time, they can't do anything apart from being present for them. A teacher made a song about hearing and knowing about his students' home lives and it is heartbreaking. The man who goes by @bridoogle on TikTok shared a video on the platform about the same.

"Little Jason told me too much about his parents' situation, now, how am I supposed to act when I face them," the man began. "Knowing every night they lose their patience and little Jason has to listen to them screaming." He added, "His father is threatening to leave them and he doesn't know what side to pick. Because he's just a kid, he's caught in between them." The teacher continued, "And little Emily is so glad that she gets to spend her weekends with her dad. Yeah, he's made some bad decisions, been unfaithful to women, but he's trying to be the best dad he can." He continued, "Little Lisa is being raised by a single mother, her bare necessities aren't always covered."

"Sometimes she comes to school hungry and I wish I could do something," the teacher expressed. "I want to give these kids everything they need, but those things don't come for free." He continued singing, "We are all excited about Christmas time, but what does Christmas mean when there are no presents underneath the Christmas tree." The man pointed out, "But for a few hours a day, I hope that they feel okay." He went on, "And even if their home life is bleak, I hope they are excited to see me." The caption read, "This one hurts a little." The video received more than 454k views and over 105k likes. People took to the comments section of the video to support the teacher and to appreciate his gesture.

@krisgonewild wrote, "School was my escape. Teachers showed me how to be an adult when I had no role models. Now I’ve got my Masters and still miss campus because it’s always been my safe space." @pizzanurse97 commented, "This is beautiful, the tempo, the intensity, the nostalgia all convey so much emotion. Thank you for the raw, compassionate and haunting piece about our education system. (US)." @gigiskukani remarked, "The lyrics and melody transcend production quality, video quality, tonality, etc, that’s how you know you have something amazing. Please give this the love it deserves by properly recording it."

@moouwu.bby shared, "I think about the teacher who cared I was sick when nobody else did, probably once a day. I want to send him a message and tell him I got a diagnosis and yeah, I’m dying, but I appreciate his support that year of high school. I wonder if he remembers me." @thathendrixlove expressed, "Thank you for caring about the babies the way that you do. I work in mental health and every day, I ask about things like these. My heart can't take it sometimes."
