Swiftie fever is in the air as Taylor Swift won nine out of her 11 nominations at the MTV VMAs on September 12. The musician made history as the first person to win Video of the Year four times, the most recent for her song “Anti-Hero.” According to PEOPLE, the Grammy winner now has a total of 23 VMAs. "OK. This is unbelievable," the 33-year-old exclaimed in her acceptance speech. "This is... I just want to say that the fact that this is a fan-voted award means so much to me based on the memories that we've made recently."

Her fans are said to be one of the most loyal fanbases in the world and have often shared stories not just of Swift's talent but her generosity. In 2017, a faithful fan named Stephanie shared her story through the pop star’s Swift Life app. At first, she had contemplated whether or not to post about her experience, but later realized she didn't want Swift's kindness to go unnoticed.

“I’ve finally decided to tell you all what Taylor did for me this night,” Stephanie wrote, according to Billboard. “What many of you don’t know is that for 8 months of my pregnancy, I was homeless. Long story short our first flat was condemned for health and safety reasons and we lost everything. To add to the stress, during this time Matthew lost his job.”

While attending Swift’s 2015 concert in Manchester, Stephanie's mom reached out to the pop star and asked if she could make her daughter feel special during the event. But little did she know that Swift had more than an onstage shout-out planned. “After the show Taylor took us back to her dressing room where she told me, ‘Stephanie, you’ve been in my life for a long time and you’ve never asked me for anything. You could have reached out and I would have helped you. But you didn’t. [Your] mum told me,’” Stephanie recalled. “She told me she wanted to give me the money back for my ticket that night. What she actually did was help us buy a home and all I needed for my baby. She told me, ‘I want you to be able to enjoy your little girl, not have to worry about all this stuff.’” The grateful fan concluded her story by sharing how much of an impact that gesture had on her. "That night she gave me her hand and lifted me off the ground. The same way she’s done for 12 years. I love her forever.”

Swift is currently on her Eras Tour, which started in March and will continue until November 23, 2024. The tour has been a very successful venture to the point where the economy has benefitted. While venues, record labels and ticket sales are profiting, Swift is now reportedly also giving back to the community by making massive donations to food banks across the country, reports CNN. The Arizona Food Bank Network recently got a call informing them that Swift wanted to donate to the charity as she began her tour in the state. Individuals who worked at the charity could not believe it and even thought it was a prank, but the donation proved to be legitimate. Swift has already made donations to food banks in Georgia, Michigan, Texas and California.
