Every artist would have a favorite creation they cherish the most out of everything they have created and worked on. However, sometimes, something completely unexpected could be closest to their heart. A woman named Sophy–who goes by @sophmapua on Instagram–shared a video showing off her woodworker grandpa's creations from over the years. But when asked to name his favorite creation among all the beautiful wood products in almost every corner of the house, he had a really heartwarming answer.

"Things my grandpa made," the text overlay of the video read. The "things" included a wooden table, a chair and two elaborate clocks. She also pointed out a custom-made backgammon board that her grandpa had carved. Then there was another clock and a small wooden table. "A knife box," Sophy explained, showing the creation to her viewers. The house also had a cling wrap box and a white swing that the grandfather had made. "This kaleidoscope and an 'Ode to Samchai,'" she continued, revealing more interesting things in the house. "My mom," Sophy joked while showing her mother. There were multiple other clocks, a wooden chess board and a lamp among his creations too.

"This guest book, this cabinet, this table, this coffee table which he repurposed," Sophy continued, revealing the seemingly endless number of things her grandpa had made for his house. Other things included a drop light ceiling, chopping boards, cell phone stand, candle lid, pizza peel, gnocchi maker and charcuterie slab. There was also a cloth hanger, more clocks and tables, a dresser drawer, side tables and a sign outside the house. "What's your favorite thing that you have made?" Sophy asked her grandpa towards the end of the video. "The favorite thing, oh, Michelle, your mother," he said, pointing at his daughter, who did a little wave as the video came to an end. Sophy captioned the video, "He's awesome."

The video has garnered more than 1.7 million views. People appreciated all the cool things Sophy's grandpa had made as well as his design skills in the comments. @_fern_min wrote, "All my holidays would have ended learning how to make a clock... that’s amazing." @yalayaaaa commented, "Imagine being able to run up to him and say 'Grandpa, grandpa, I want this, can you make it for me?' and he literally craving it out of wood, just for you. One single piece. Only available to you and no one in the world. Damn, I'm so happily jealous of you." @savan_taher added, "Master mind with master heart."

@sanjay_kpr remarked, "I am sorry, but he is on a whole new level and we need a channel dedicated to his works. We want to learn." @zoemaverick shared, "Lucky you and the future generations for being part of your lovely grampa! Lots of love to both of you. I miss mine." @ramansgdeep joked, "It's an ethical sin to not name the artist before perusing through his art gallery." @xobdor_jwar_bhaata expressed, "Damn, I wish he was my grandpa. I would've learned woodwork from him."
