It's not common for pets to get along with strangers easily. But some furry friends become a source of absolute joy to those who interact with them. If you think that is cute, imagine what a heartwarming sight it would be to see a sweet little girl and an amiable cat get along. That's what happened when a popular one-eared black cat named Uno—who goes by @one_eared_uno on TikTok—met a little friend during his walk. Uno's pet parent captured their wholesome interaction and the internet cannot get enough of the pair's collective cuteness.

The pet mom starts the video saying, "My cat Uno is not a therapy cat. But after this interaction, I think I'm going to start the certification process." In the video, we see a little girl in a pink frock on the sidewalk with her mom. The little one appears absolutely delighted by the sight of Uno. She politely asks the pet parent what the cat's name is, and then proudly repeats it to her mom, "Oh! This is an Uno, mommy." She officially declares him as her "new friend," and starts caressing his face. The feline patiently sits on the sidewalk as the little girl pampers him with hugs.

The excited little one then asks if her mom wanted to pet Uno too and both mom and daughter stroke his "soft" fur for a while. Cut to the next clipping, we see that Uno had let the child take him on a walk. She passionately walked him along the sidewalk and was proud that she was on a "catwalk" with Uno. She repeatedly showered Uno with niceties, calling him "cute," and adoring him to the core. Uno, on the other hand, was having the time of his life with his new friend and though she was a stranger to him, he made no fuss and walked with her. When the little girl called him a "cutie pie," the pet parent was surprised that such a young kid knew to express her adoration for the cat.

When it was time for the kid to return home, her mom asked her to say goodbye. But the child couldn't get away from adorable Uno and kept on petting him. "This is my new friend," she repeated while her parents were asking her to say "Good night" to Uno. They reassured her that she would meet Uno again to which she happily exclaimed, "Yeah! I'm going to pet him again and give him a hug again and give him a kiss again, Mom." Uno's parent knew that he was glad about his new friend too and said, "He's always so happy after he makes friends."

When the pet parent mentioned in the caption that this incident was proof that Uno should be a therapy cat, many agreed. The little girl's considerate and gentle gesture also received much love. "She's a cat lady in training and a quick study. Uno is so precious. He was so sweet with her. Therapy cat material for sure!" said @justmejess77. "The fact that Uno was totally ok with her touching his paws and his tail," remarked @mizdukek12. "The child was definitely raised right but can we talk about how Uno was raised," added @kayleesi__
