Overwhelmed teacher can't control her tears as students gift her something she long wanted

Some teachers are absolutely wonderful and the biggest supporter of their students. It is the law of the universe that you get back the love you spread and a particular group of students let their teacher know how much they love her.  She is a widely-loved teacher who most probably took care of all kids to the best of her abilities. So, in order to honor their teacher during Christmas, this entire class contributed and bought the most special gift anyone could ask for. Her reaction to this wonderful gift was caught on video and was posted on Reddit by u/pandabatron. It begins with the teacher, lovingly called Ms.PowPow, bursting into tears as soon as she realized that her students have brought a Christmas gift for her. 

She asks them in between happy tears, "What is this?" and the students ask her to open it in the middle of the class. She first opens up a thank you card from the class and she breaks down into tears saying, "Teachers never get thank you." She goes ahead and opens the gift, which is a Steelers team jersey, her favorite NFL team, with "PowPow" written on it. The teacher is absolutely happy and surprised to see such a thoughtful gift from her students. She holds the t-shirt up and is not able to process the enormous love of her students. She screams in joy, cries and continuously expresses her shock throughout. This adorable video has gathered several thousand views on Reddit and 3.4k upvotes.

Reddit users joined in the comments section to applaud the efforts of the students. One user, u/nobolognastoney, commented, "The way the room erupted when she saw her name on the jersey, after already expressing how excited she was at the fact that it was her favorite team's jersey did it for me." Another Reddit user u/pbd1996, shared, "My classmates and I did this for our favorite teacher our senior year. We got her an olive leaf branch Tiffany ring (she was our Latin teacher). It was only $10 per student, so together, we were able to afford it. She bawled her eyes out and was so happy. Reminds me of this teacher. We love teachers like you Ms.PowPow!" 

Another person, LatexPred95, said, "These teachers are invaluable. Will never forget mine 15 years back, Mrs. Clarke. Took us from the gutter and never once gave up. She was so real she’d come in on Saturdays if we were struggling and you’re damn right we’d turn up." 

The video was originally posted on TikTok by @salene_tran on TikTok and gathered almost 8 million views. A TikTok user u/araceli, commented, "This lady isn’t my teacher but I’m so happy y’all did this for her she seems like the sweetest person." Another person, illuair472, said, "Wow, this is someone meant to be a teacher. Her students love her and there is so much mutual love and respect, I love it."

A third user, Denise, chimed in to say, "This is amazing!!! We need more teachers like her! I don’t think she truly knows how much she’s given you guys."
