Strangers come through for single mom when she asks them to cheer for her daughter at school event

A single mother was showered with love and support from fellow parents when her daughter went up on stage during a school event. According to Scary Mommy, the mom named Brandy, asked strangers in the audience to cheer for her kid when she receives her award on stage. Fellow parent, Tiffany, captured the hilarious and heartwarming video of her husband, MJ, preparing to cheer for the youngster named Aria and giving it his all when it was showtime.

The video begins with the overlay text, "This single mom asked my husband to cheer for her daughter when they called her name." Brandy then turns to Tiffany and says, "Oh you’re laughing, but I’m holding you all to it too, since you just sat back here." Meanwhile, MJ can be seen making faces as if he is preparing to shout out. “You recruited him to holler for your baby?” Tiffany asks. “Yeah, because we’re a party of one,” Brandy replies, “So help this single momma out and holler for my baby.”

Meanwhile, MJ continues to silently practice yelling sounds with his mouth open. "He’s going to show out?” Brandy asks, after noticing his preparation. “I told him you made the mistake of sitting by me, so.”

When the announcer finally calls out, "Aria Thomas," everyone near Brandy begins to shout, scream and cheer for the youngster, and MJ whistles for her. “I didn’t even know you could do that,” Tiffany tells MJ. “You didn’t do that for Jade! I didn’t know you could whistle like that.” Jade is their daughter, who was also part of the ceremony.

The video has garnered about 11.1 million views and 2 million likes. It is captioned, "My hubby is hilarious. She didn't know who she sat by."
