Bonnie passed away in 1999, but Vincent saved all of her short TV appearances over the years.

Finding his mother's commercials has always been nostalgic to Vincent Bradus, especially after her untimely demise. Vincent's mother, Bonnie, was a notable background actor in the 1990s. Recently, an old commercial kept circulating on social media. But when he noticed the person appearing in it, he realized the gift his mother left for him 26 years after her passing. Sharing the story with ABC News, Vincent takes us back to the 90s infomercial that has recently brought back fond memories for his family.
Vincent Bradus often spotted his mother, Bonnie, as a background actor in commercials and movies in the 90s. He often saved 'sightings' of her, but what he never expected was to come across her in a now-viral commercial of an old TV infomercial. Bonnie passed away in 1999, but Vincent saved all of her short TV appearances over the years. Vincent was scrolling on his phone when he came across a commercial from the 1990s. The ad was for a hands-free headset, which was advertised for people working in corporate offices. The infomercial was shared millions of times online, but Vincent caught the attention of a familiar person amongst the other actors. In the 2019 study, authored by Abigail J Rolbiecki et al., explored the purpose of digital footage that helps as a bereavement intervention. The study surveyed 14 bereaved family members and found that digital storytelling has been an excellent way to cope with the loss of a loved one. One participant described their process of finishing their digital story as "refreshing." While Vincent may have lost his mother 26 years ago, she lives through these TV commercials that the family now cherishes.

In one of the scenes from the ad, he spotted a woman wearing a dark blue blazer. He suspected that the woman resembled his mother. He went on a chat with his family, asking if it was really her? Vincent recalled her dad owning a blue blazer. "My dad had a navy blazer, and I remember that as wardrobe in her back seat," he recalled to Faith Post. To further confirm, Vincent went deeper to do a bit of research and found that the ad was filmed in San Diego, where the family lived. Now every time the commercial is referred to online, it brings a smile to Vincent's face.
