When the sisters decided to fulfill their dream of opening a cafe, they had no idea their uncle would become their most loyal customer.
Receiving support from family for a new business venture can be incredibly heartwarming, especially when it’s consistent and unwavering. When two sisters opened a cafe across from their parents' house, they didn’t expect their uncle to become a daily visitor. The sisters shared a touching video of the man showing up every day to get coffee for himself and their dad. Chryssie Swarbrick and Angie Markou, from Australia, who run the coffee shop Two Franks and go by @twofrankscoburg on Instagram, posted the video to showcase the unwavering support they’ve received from their family.
"POV: You and your sister opened a coffee shop across the road from your parents' house and your uncle visits every day," the text overlay in the video read. The uncle showed up with two mugs—one for himself and one for Chryssie and Angie's dad. Both men had their own designated mugs. "They sit on the porch and watch our cafe like it's TV," the sisters shared. The men waved from the porch as they were filmed. The uncle even took business calls while picking up his daily coffee, making it part of his regular routine. The caption read, "When we opened a cafe opposite our childhood home, we didn't guess our Uncle Taki and Dad would be two of our most loyal customers."
"Every day Uncle Taki brings his mugs in for two extra hot flat whites with honey, collects them from the barista and wanders across the road to sit with our dad on the porch and watch the cafe at work," the sisters revealed. "For them, watching us is a bit like a TV show, but it's the same for us - we look across the road and they've got different guests on the verandah, or someone's getting a haircut, or someone's cooking a yiros in the front yard, or someone's pruning the olive tree. So sweet to have a family so close by and so supportive of our little cafe dream." The video has garnered over one million views, with people in the comments expressing their admiration for the supportive uncle.

This is just gorgeous!" @valthedestroyer commented, "My algorithm is so cruel showing me this adorable little coffee shop halfway across the world! Now I have to book a trip to Coburg, Australia!" @Ifiercepierce remarked, "I live in Sydney, but just down in Melbourne last week!! I would have loved to come to your shop and wave at your dad and uncle next time. We will travel to see you next time!"
@papagu106 shared, "You are living every father's dream. They get to see you to work, at work and after work. They could probably willingly run errands for you." @somewhatsoloexplorer expressed, "This is beautiful. Love how he brings the cups over. What a beautiful experience you get to have with them both." @david.hop_ pointed out, "Absolutely beautiful. I love their support and I can only imagine all of this love makes for an incredible space to share with others."
