Employees often face discrimination of sorts while working in the service sector. In order to eliminate any problem faced by employees, the management needs to understand they are one team with them and not against each other. They need to cooperatively handle customers, especially the tricky and relentless ones. A single mom–who goes by @__saylala on TikTok–mentioned that she was recently fired from her part-time job after a group of 7 reckless people dined and dashed on her watch. The woman explained her situation and revealed that it was a tricky scenario. She had no idea it would result in a ridiculous happening. “I’m here to share a situation with you because this sh*t is really bogus,” she exclaimed.

The single mom mentioned that she had been working 3 jobs to make ends meet. One of them was as a host at a restaurant. She explained that she had been working there for 10 years since 2014 and had started as a server. While coming to her unfortunate scenario, she mentioned that a party of 7 came to the restaurant and she was in charge of them along with 5 other tables for the evening. As a bartender, the woman also had to make everyone’s drinks. She added that the 7 people came in and had drinks, shakes and a few items off the menu as well.

As the woman brought over the bill, one of the customers at the table complained about their meal and asked it to be fixed. “Another woman said, ‘We want the bill split 7 ways,’” she explained. “I re-separated the checks. I go and they’re gone. They’re nowhere to be found,” the woman said, feeling upset and hopeless. “They walked out on me. They walked out on a $300 bill,” the woman added. Though disappointed, the mom was not new to the dining and dashers. She mentioned that she had rude customers and others of the like in their profession before as well.

The mom further explained that working three jobs where she’s underpaid is not easy, but she had to. “I was struggling, so I had to do what I gotta do,” she remarked. “Do I love working 3 jobs? No. I’d love to spend time with my child instead, but I got to make sh*t move,” she said. The woman managed to find one of the customers online and contacted her so she could pay the bill. “She was out there trying to justify walking out on me. There was no problem. I wasn’t rude to her. She just didn’t want to pay the bill when she saw it,” the mom said.

After adamantly persisting, the customer ruthlessly contacted the restaurant to complain about the mom. “They suspended me without pay. I just got a call. They terminated me,” the woman said. “This sh*t is fu**ed up,” she added. The woman couldn’t help but tear up at the fact that she had worked hard for her job, but the customer’s heartlessness took it away. @hausofhollywood added, “I would have taken them to court. I’m so sorry this happened.” @slime.junkie remarked, “They are both so wrong for that.” @jackie.love56 wrote, “That’s wrong, they shouldn’t have fired you. I’m so sorry!” @jessica_xo_ said, “I know that feeling, you’re stressed. I hope a blessing comes your way.”
