Siblings cry tears of joy upon learning that their mom is pregnant: 'Momma is having a baby'

The news that one is having a sibling can yield different reactions but are often wholesome and the start of something wonderful. Becoming an older brother or sister can bring vivid feelings to one’s heart. So, when a mom Stesha Royer—who goes by @stesharoyer2 on TikTok—revealed that she is having a baby with her two kids, their reactions were priceless. The woman who is mom to a toddler and a pre-teen daughter broke the news of her pregnancy in a rather creative way and the children’s different reactions have people’s hearts melting. The mom had everyone eat a cupcake with a secret element inside it. The cupcake was placed on a disposable plate.

Her toddler son and older daughter were both seated at the table with their respective plates and cupcakes. With the banter and chaos going on between the two siblings, they were keen on finding out what was the element in each other’s cupcakes. “There’s a baby,” the girl said, munching on her cupcake. The boy had no clue just yet. On enquiring, the toddler tried his best to figure out what element he had. “An eyeball,” he said, a little confused. Leaving everyone confused, his older sister stepped in to help him identify the element in his cupcake. “That is a baby look! That is a baby,” the sister said, showing her little brother the tiny baby structure. After the sibling duo successfully identified the baby, they still had no clue why it was there. 

The parents then together asked their kids to flip their plates over. Confused, the girl turned her plate over first. As soon as she read what was written on the back of her plate, she let out a silent gasp and immediately began to cry. The toddler boy was confused even after reading the plate and his mom had to adorably explain, “Your plate says ‘Big Brother.’” The girl was sobbing at this point and it was hard to tell whether she was happy or sad. Nevertheless, she looked over at her confused brother and explained to him, “Mom is having a baby. Momma is gonna have a baby.” While the girl continued sobbing, the boy sprang up in excitement and screamed, “For real? Is it a boy or a girl?” he asked, already eager.

“Don’t be sad,” the mom said to her daughter, assuming that she wasn’t too happy about the news. “Is mom for real, actually having a baby?” the boy asked with the cutest smile. Meanwhile, the girl filled with emotions ran over to her mom and gave her a big hug. “Are you sad or are you happy?” “I’m happy, I’m happy,” the girl said as she held her mother and tried to control her happy tears. @hali.myers said, “Something tells me big sister is excited and stressed!” @savannascholten said, “She has the biggest heart and is going to love that baby so much.” @loriimariee said, “My oldest daughter reacted the same way and cried when she found out we’re expecting.” @nelo_01 remarked, “Aw, two different personalities, I love it!”
