Staying true to her duty, the concert security unwittingly stopped the lead singer from walking backstage without a pass.

Celebrity humility can seem rare in a world where stars often lead glamorous lives, and ignoring fans is all too common. Yet, some famous faces remain down-to-earth and are even celebrated for their wholesome moments. A prime example is Lamb of God’s lead vocalist, Randy Blythe, whose genuine humility shone in an encounter shared on TikTok by Bloodstock Festival (@bloodstockfestival). In a viral 2022 video, viewed nearly 10 million times, Blythe was humorously denied backstage access by a diligent security guard.

During Lamb of God's performance at the UK's heavy metal festival, Blythe was walking up the stairs to enter backstage when a female security guard stopped him. She inquired about his backstage pass, to which the singer replied, "I don't have it." He sarcastically added that he didn't carry a pass because he was the "greatest" person, without revealing his identity. However, some bystanders informed the security guard that he was Randy Blythe, the lead singer of Lamb of God. The woman felt a bit embarrassed about her mistake and apologized. Blythe, however, was impressed by her sincerity and had a cool response.

"Don't be sorry. You're doing your job. I like you," the "Memento Mori" singer reassured the woman. The moment was wholesome as the people present were amused by this mishap and so was the internet. "It’s nice to see someone not instantly take offense and troll this person when they are truly just trying to do their job!" wrote @danielson1881. "How he thanked her for doing her job and was so cool about is awesome!" remarked @no_one_special570. "At least he knows he's safe if anyone tried to sneak in to meet the band," quipped @gotpride

Months after this video went viral, the band recreated the moment and shared the video on their official Instagram handle, Lamb of God (@lambofgod). Only this time, the roles were reversed. During their Bristol concert, the female security guard from the viral video tried to enter backstage while Blythe was the one to stop her. When the singer asked her for her passes, bystanders explained that she was the famous security guard from the Bloodstock Festival. Blythe immediately apologized to her, and she responded, "That's okay. You're just doing your job."

Speaking of concert security guards, Taylor Swift once defended a fan who was roughed up by security during her concert. A viral clip shared by Nicolle Bradford (@NicolleBradford) on X gave us a glimpse of how the pop singer yelled at the security "She’s fine! She wasn’t doing anything!" while performing "Bad Blood." She also turned to the other side of the stage and shouted, "Hey! Stop!" Apparently, the singer noticed her fans being handled with force by the concert security guards. Even in the middle of her performance, she took time to ensure her fans had a good time and were safe.
