Celebrating 26 years of marriage is a special moment for anyone. It is no different for our favorite stars. Sarah Jessica Parker is celebrating this special milestone with her husband, Matthew Broderick. The "Sex and the City" actress shared some details of her special day. "Happy 26th anniversary, my husband," Parker wrote on Instagram. "That sure was a nice celebration and a really nice bottle of champagne. And a gorgeous walk home."

"Oh, the miles we have strolled together," she continued. "I love you. XOX, your SJ." The post featured a picture of a champagne cork. Parker's friends commented on the post and wished the couple. Andy Cohen commented with four hearts. "Happy Anniversary to both of you!!" Parker's "Sex and the City" co-star Mario Cantone wrote, reported TODAY.

"I've always said one of the reasons we’ve had success is because we don’t talk about our marriage,” Parker told The Hollywood Reporter. “I’m not flattering myself that anyone’s discussing my marriage, but we’re certainly not going to add to it by saying, ‘Well, this is why it works.’ Next thing you know, there’ll be a very public divorce. So we just try to respect each other.”

Before the professional commitment that came along with "Plaza Suite," Parker said, the couple had not spent this much time together. “Even when we were just dating," she told the outlet. "But it’s a very different kind of time. It’s not like we’re spending more time together talking. We’re spending time together working in an alternate universe. We’re not ourselves."

As for how they found each other, Broderick has revealed that he knew right away that he had found the one. "Oh, the first time I met her," Broderick told Andy Cohen during an appearance on "Watch What Happens Live" last year. "I saw her walking down the street and thought, 'That's it.'" When asked what he appreciated the most about his wife, "Humor and wisdom," the actor said. Meanwhile, Parker has shared that their first kiss "was outside an apartment building" and their second kiss occurred while she was on her way to a subway station, reported PEOPLE.

"I had a Ricola in my mouth. It was the dead of winter and I thought—well, it just seemed like a third party. So I spit it out into my gloved hand because I was getting on the subway... It was stuck on my glove," she said. Parker added that although it was "a huge investment glove," it was worth it and she never had a second thought. "It made a sort of mark forever," she said.
