This woman's dad is fond of the old-school method of record-keeping and prefers to note details and reviews of every movie he watches on an Excel sheet.
There are many websites where cinephiles can record and review the movies they've watched. Platforms like Letterboxd allow movie lovers to create digital journals, while certified critics turn to Rotten Tomatoes to analyze films and shows. However, there is one gentleman who has reverted to the old-school method of recording everything he has watched on screen. His daughter, Sie, who goes by @plantitpholiage on TikTok, shared a video about her dad that left viewers amazed.
"My dad has recorded and rated every single movie he's ever watched, in alphabetical order on an Excel sheet. He recorded the Rotten Tomato reviews. He recorded his review and any keynotes he needed about who acted on it, all updated on his laptop. Once a year, he'll print out an updated version of his rated movie book," Sie shared in her TikTok video while flipping through her dad's meticulously organized movie registry. While many viewers praised his impressive record-keeping skills, some in the comments speculated that such meticulousness might reflect traits associated with autism.
@rdentro commented, "Look, I'm not saying it's autism. But I got a diagnosis and the game recognizes the game." @kittyqueentengu quipped, "My family says there's no history of autism but my grandpa has an Excel sheet of his solar panels and how much electricity each one is generating and another listing all the groceries they have." @dxsam9057xd shared, "Excessive organization of minute details is heavily indicative of autism. Many autistic people do many compulsive things that are good practice. These concepts are not mutually exclusive." @meloncholyflower added, "Alphabetical it's neat. However, I'd be more interested in a chronological order of when he watched them. I think that would make for a separate interesting set of data."

While Sie's dad meticulously tracks his movie-viewing experiences on Excel sheets, another gentleman is charming audiences as a suave retro DJ. At 71, Brian Pheonix stands out from modern DJs by relying on his vast CD collection rather than high-tech equipment. A video shared by Miranda Dolph (@mirandameganne on TikTok) captured Pheonix in action at a wedding, where he played for The Music Man DJ Service, a U.S.-based wedding and events company. Dressed in a sharp suit and tie, Pheonix carefully selected tracks from his collection, delighting guests with his timeless approach to music.
Speaking to Good Morning America, Phoenix shared his experience of playing music: "It's not like I was saving a baby from a burning building or, 'Oh my God, look at that. The roof was caving in and he lifted it back up.' I'm just standing there. So, I find that amazing." Dolph, who uploaded the viral video on her TikTok, said that initially, Pheonix didn't grab her eyes. However, when her friend pointed out that the DJ had a whole curated CD collection from which he was picking the tunes, Dolph couldn't help but check out the man behind the music as he dug through the CD collection and lined up songs. It just proves how old-school ways of enjoying music are still appreciated.
