Woman whose robot vacuum disappeared for 2 days makes surprising discovery about it on ring camera

We all have heard of cats and dogs running away from their homes, resulting in owners being frantically worried and searching for them. But very few people might have faced the problem of their Roomba leaving their house, much less for two days. TikTok influencer @betzyproduction could not find her Roomba for two days and made a startling discovery from the ring camera on her doorbell. The hilarious video, which is accompanied by George Micheal's "Freedom!" song in the background, has gone viral, amassing 25.5 million views and 27.1K comments. 

In the 14-second clip, viewers witness the Roomba slowly moving away from the house. The text overlay reads, "Couldn't find my Roomba for 2 days and then saw this on the ring camera." The woman clarified in the comments section that they had left their door open to move Christmas decorations during the day. She also mentioned that it normally stopped at the stairs. People in the comments found the video hilarious and asked a couple of hilarious questions. 

@jammyjam87 inquired, "Is it still roaming out there and did it at least vacuum the leaves?" @betzyproduction hilariously replied, "It got the mulch!" @chmklvr shared, "I've seen this happen two times today, good thing mine stays upstairs." @betzyproduction clarified, "Last time he almost committed suicide by throwing himself off my back deck." Thankfully the woman was able to find the Roomba before it went too far. 

Roombas and dogs seem to be quite intent on running away from their homes and returning after a few days. Sometime back, Peter and Paula Crosier became quite worried when their beloved dog ran away from their house, only to return on the same day with a rosette from a dog show. According to The Argus, the disappearance of their beagle-cross Bonnie upset them so much that they put together a search party with the police, local vets and the dog warden to look for her. 

All seemed lost, till they came across a Facebook post by John Wilmer requesting the dog's owners to get in touch. They got to know that Wilmer came across Bonnie on the road while he was going to a dog show with two dogs of his own. Now that they knew where Bonnie was, Wilmer decided to enter her into the dog show he was attending. In a surprise turn of events, the cute beagle was able to secure third place in the category leaving her family stunned when returned him with a rosette. 

Wilmer spoke about the experience with BBC, saying, "he was such a lovely dog, I thought it'd be good to enter her. I was in a bit of a rush to get there when we found Bonnie and put her in the car. I left a message on Facebook before taking her to the show. I was so pleased she did so well." Peter and Paula also revealed that they had never entered Bonnie, who was a rescue, into any competitions, but that they would consider doing it now. 

Peter said, "We never pursued dog shows with Bonnie. We should do it now. When she was missing I had five different outcomes in my head, the best being that she came back. This was even better than that, she came back with a rosette." Paula added, "We're so thrilled she's safe and well and also a winner. You couldn't make this stuff up. We were frantic as we lived right by the main road. Bonnie used to be a street dog and we were so worried she wouldn't have known to come back."
