Several animals respond to affection in a very heartwarming way. Their response might vary drastically from each other, but it might make a person's day to receive affection from an animal. A rescue worker shared a series of videos of herself kissing different dogs at the rescue dog center to see their reactions to receiving affection from the woman and it is absolutely heartwarming. The woman, whose rescue center goes by @fetcherdog on Instagram, took to the platform to share the video with the internet.

"Kissing the dogs at the rescue center to see their reactions," the text overlay of the video read. The woman kissed a dog at first, who gave her a slight head bump and immediately cuddled with her. The second dog lay down on her lap and rolled around in joy after receiving a kiss. The dog let her give a lot of belly rubs, too. A big, furry dog with black and white fur came close to the woman and received a kiss. The animal sat down to cuddle with her and rubbed its nose to her neck. Another dog enthusiastically licked the woman's face repeatedly after receiving a kiss. A dog who was lying down gently put its head in her lap and snuggled close to her.

Another one simply climbed onto her lap and then nuzzled into her face and snuggled the woman. The caption read, "It’s our best of 2024 kissing compilation! We have kissed a lot of dogs this year to see their reactions, but these were your favorites. We are so grateful for everyone who has enjoyed our videos this year. We couldn’t rescue these dogs without your support. We have a big fundraising campaign starting today, so please head to the links in our bio to donate and help us rescue more dogs!" People took to the comments section of the video to appreciate the touching video. Many of them even pointed out specific dogs and their reactions.

@tjphillips321 wrote, "It's both beautiful to watch and heartbreaking to see. Some have obviously been handled unkindly. Thank you for giving them what has always been theirs to receive." @crashcandy_cosplay commented, "Second to last one made me bawl my eyes out have you ever seen such a gentle and timid response to genuine love I am not okay y'all." The person replied, "As this video gets more popular, I want to just say that I know these dogs very well and care for them every day. Don’t do this with dogs you don’t know and trust."

@_liddojenny4_ remarked, "If this doesn’t convince you to adopt from your local shelter/rescue, I don’t know what does! THEY JUST WANT TO BE LOVED!" @aliciaprimm shared, "The black and white one with the green collar...I can't even. You know he has had trust broken before and was okay with giving you his." @some1stilllovesyou expressed, "This is exactly why I roll my eyes when 'studies show that dogs don’t like kisses.' Yes, they do. It entirely depends on the dog if they like it. They might not fully understand what a kiss is, but they know it’s a sign of affection and a good thing."
