In between all the doom-scrolling and bad news we see online, sometimes the internet can be a wholesome place. When Reddit user AcBlaze took to the forum No Stupid Questions to ask for help with what others may perceive to be a simple task, fellow Reddit users gave them all the advice they may need in the kindest way possible. They asked, "I have very bad anxiety and would like to try Subway, could someone give me a step-by-step [guide on] how to order a sandwich from there?" With all the advice they received, they placed their first order successfully and added that they would soon go back to their local Subway.

The top response came from fellow Reddit user Beyardo, whose simple instructions were clear and easy to understand. "They will ask you what you want," they explained. "You will pick X meat on Y bread, either six or 12 inches. They will ask you what kind of cheese you want and then whether you want it toasted. Then you will get to veggies and other toppings and they will just put on whatever you tell them to. Dressing [and/or] sauce too." Next, the Reddit user shared how the meal combos work.

The user stated, "Once you are done with the sandwich, they will ask you if you want it for here or to go and whether you want to make it a meal with chips and a drink. They will ring up your charges, take your payment, and away you go." Before concluding their comment, however, they added some more advice to help AcBlaze. "If there is any concern about what you want, you can always Google their menu in advance so you know exactly what you are getting once you get in there," Beyardo suggested. "Good luck!"

Other Reddit users were even more detailed in their responses. For example, some even wrote a script for the original poster. Many others explained which side to queue up on and the differences between all the types of bread Subway serves. In response, the original poster said thank you and added that they would have a look at their menu. Soon enough, they posted an update on their post. "I managed to go in just now, [the] sandwich was very nice," AcBlaze wrote. "I rather suspect I'll be back to try more! Thank you all so much for all your support, it means the world to me."

Evidently, the kindness of strangers can go a long way. The Reddit forum No Stupid Questions is particularly popular for those in search of a judgment-free space to ask questions that may otherwise seem obvious to many. Therefore, even when it appears as if the internet is a divided, polarized and nasty place, it is heartwarming to know that there are still corners of the virtual world where people are kind to one another.
