As we all know, the world is not a kind place to live in for anybody. It eventually makes parents ensure that children are prepared in such a way that they can function in this cruel world with healthy boundaries. Often, it is hard to have this conversation with the kids, but Namwila was determined to instill the importance of boundaries. Namwila, who goes on TikTok by @lifeofnamz, showcases her happiness in the video as she sees right in front of her eyes her efforts bearing fruits. Her 2-year-old eloquently verbalized her desires and got what she wanted through communicating.

The mother gave a heartfelt caption to the video, "I'm in love with how open and comfortable she is, understanding that at any time she can always use her voice, and all the affirmations we use are sinking in. I was literally tickling her for some time before this happened and I love that she was able to listen to her body and articulate what she felt with me. Such a proud mum moment." The video begins with the mother tickling the baby in her arms. Suddenly, she said, "I don't." These words and the baby's body language made the mother stop whatever she was doing immediately.

Namwila wanted to give her baby the space she needed to communicate her feelings. The baby continued, "Please stop. I don't like that." Then she began singing the boundary song that went, "I'm feeling uncomfortable. I need some space." The mother taught the baby this song so she could clearly communicate when she felt uncomfortable in any situation. Namwila got the hint that the baby doesn't "like that anymore." She understood that her girl might have enjoyed it before but no longer cared for it. The mother politely asked, "Do you want me to put you down?" The baby sweetly uttered a "yes."

Namwila was very happy that her daughter could verbalize her discomfort. She knows it is an essential attribute to have in this world where sometimes individuals get sidelined for not being expressive. She shared her gratefulness by saying, "Thank you for telling me and using your voice." The baby's response was, "My voice matters." It was enough to make her and others in the comment section cry. The world often takes away people's self-confidence with its toxicity and haywire rules. Most women have gone through this because of gender disparity. Seeing her daughter have the confidence to deal with these issues was a heartening experience for the mother.

The heartwarming video has gone viral, garnering over 13M views and nearly 3M likes. The comment section loved the baby's response and applauded the mother's upbringing. @phoebedsw wrote how she felt inspired by the video and wanted to incorporate these teachings, "I love this, well done! I have a 14-month-old and would love to start implementing this and parenting in this way!" @themessiejessy commented about wanting to know more about the boundary song, "Good job, Mama! What's the boundary song? I feel my son would benefit from that because he responds well to music."
