There are no levels to a child's excitement. If they find anything interesting anywhere, they would just want to grab it. They don't care if it's a national championship or an important office meeting. And that's what probably makes the best moments. People on the internet adore the innocence and pure joy that kids carry. In one such moment captured on April 5, pro-golfer Harold Varner III's son decided to run into the green and tried touching a ball before his father scooped him into his arms, as reported by Scary Mommy

Liam managed to throw a golf ball from the tee area and then he ran after it. Both Varner and his wife chased him and soon realized he was actually heading into the green, where Talor Gooch and Thomas Pieters were amidst a game, according to PEOPLE. The excited 18-month-old almost grabbed a live ball on the field during Masters Par 3 contest at Augusta National Golf Club. At the last moment, his dad Varner picked him up and took him to the side of the field. Varner could be seen smiling the entire time. The ESPN video also had a slow-motion recap.

The post was captioned, "Dad reflexes on point." The video went viral with more than 13 million views. Many on social media just loved the moment captured on camera. @notjgatz commented, "Most exciting golf highlight I’ve ever seen." @andreajoy86 wrote, "That’s good parenting right there. It’s called watching your kids. Good job Dad!" @thesaylifecoach pointed out, "That takes skill! Toddlers are quick!!" @mr_conscientious expressed, "The slo-mo replay made this even better." @raheemmustard commented, "Probably gonna be the most entertaining moment of the masters today." @roxyroxrubio wrote, "He was already reaching for the ball!!! He's so adorable!!!"

Later, Varner also posted adorable pictures from the event. He can be seen kissing the child and having a fun time with him. Liam was wearing a one-piece jumper with his father's name on the back and looked adorable. The crowd was also smitten with the boy and clapped when he almost reached the ball. "Have no idea where he gets it, but Liam loved y’all clapping for him today,” Varner captioned the post.

The family celebrated Liam's first birthday in October last year. He was posing in a vintage-style car at his birthday party. However, his father couldn't be there for it as he was participating in an event in Thailand. "My little man is officially one and moving around as much as I do. Hated to miss the party, but we'll celebrate soon. Love you Liam!," Varner had written then. The pro golf player often posts pictures with his son. He has captured nap times with him, Christmas celebrations, and plenty of other antics.

On the other hand, Varner is also a rising star in the golf world. He won the 2016 Australian PGA Championship and the 2022 Saudi International. He got married to his wife Amanda in 2020 but has been with her since 2013. They welcomed Liam into their lives in 2021.
